Staff at reception and check out counter not very friendly at all. Same applies to the breakfast room. Room clean and comfortable. Make sure on check in you get FREE wifi, otherwise very expensive. Can't understand why, one pays a lot for the room surely internet should be part of the deal. Should I have to go back to Jerusalem...

The staff at the front desk were not friendly and if they knew you were Americans - seemed to despise you. A bartender refused to even acknowledge me. The rooms are not clean. The only plus side were some of the waitresses who finally warmed up to you. Otherwise I would avoid this hotel.

I first stayed here in May, 1999, when the hotel was fairly new. Nothing much has changed which is NOT a compliment. A very big hotel catering to hordes of international tourists. It appeared to me that the constant flow of tourists limited the opportunities for basic maintenance of the rooms. For instance, the whole five days I was there, I observed that a peanut along the wall and other debris like hair and bits of paper chaff never seemed to get...

We went with a tour group in February 2014. The staff was friendly but usually busy. The breakfast was pretty good, except that the pancakes were always cold and the coffee was not self-serve, which means being on the look-out constantly to catch the eye of the waiter to bring you more coffee (which wasn't very good either). The lounge...
