VERY small room and even smaller toilet room! Non tasty breakfast. Terrible location (room window in front of other apartments) . The whole hotel smelled of gutter! Not a pleasant night although I must confess the bed was quite comfortable! We payed for two nights but only stayed for one! It was enough!

Actually i was not sure how to respond to this review, a review that is originally based on racism for knowing that the hotel is in East Jerusalem (Jerusalem) is something NOT healthy. Rooms are NOT small they are 20 sq meters not including bath. Rooms will not overlook the sea if thats what you wanted when you mentioned that... More

We felt very safe staying at this hotel. All of the front desk people speak great English and were extremely helpful to us when we needed reservations, cab rides, etc. This hotel is within walking distance (20 minutes up a hill) of the Old City. Our room was nice, clean and quiet. The breakfasts were amazing and there is a... More

Pros: price - unbeatable for a Jerusalem 4* hotel; free wi-fi; free public / private parking; some rooms have balcony with decent views; good breakfast; nice, friendly and helpful staff; walking distance to the old city (1.5 km); Cons: rooms are rather small (especially the triple ones); worn out carpeting and shabby walls, with spots of mold here and there;

The hotel is very nice, cheap and good, that look like in a pictures. The room is clear, and quiet. The breakfast is delicious and more than enough. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The old city is very near. So that was a good hotel.

Commodore Hotel was amazing! This is a genuine review and I want anyone who is looking at this hotel to truly consider it as a place to stay. This hotel is a great find. It's at the bottom of the Mt of Olives, you won't have to climb the whole hill to get there. It is very comfortable, excellent value for your money and within walking distance to the Old Town. There is also a bus stop outside if you want to ride. All the sites of Old... More

The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast was great, including fresh waffles and omelettes made on the spot. The room was very clean, large, and the wifi was fast and worked my entire stay. All in all, the Commodore is a comfortable and pleasant stay.

First off, this hotel is very close to Temple Mount (20 minutes walking distance) so you can easily see all the sites. The room and hotel was clean, the price was good, the service was fine and the staff was friendly. I give this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 because this place advertised having a business center as did... More
