We had a family event and had 6 rooms. Some rooms had a couple, some 4 people and some had six. The rooms all had bunk beds and on-suite. The rooms and linen were clean and orderly. The most important factor for me was the service and attention and help we received from Annette. She was terrific. That alone made the experience worthwhile.

Lovely clean and confortable room. Had en-suite bathroom and fully working air conditioner. Self catering facilities and free tea and coffee in the mornings. Situated closed to the old city ideal for day sightseeing in Jerusalem. Friendly staff, I’d definitely recommend it.

The room was nice and clean. It is central to get to the city - new and old. On Shabbat it's possible to use Busses to the old City, which is comfortable. The people at the center are friendly and helpfull.

We brought a group of about 40 young adults to Jerusalem and used Beit Ben Yehuda as our base of operations. The staff were fantastic. We rented the entire facility - and they were very accommodating. To our needs. We used the dining room for a meeting room where we conducted classes at night, and we used the upstairs for a meeting room/hangout room too. It's a great base of operations, and may of our group walked down to the Old City after our long days - (about a 40min walk).

We rented out the entire facility for our Study Abroad group from January through March. It is the perfect location for students to engage with Jerusalem. The facility is clean and well kept and the staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. We always love our stay at Beit Ben Yehuda.

We've stayed at Beit Ben Yehuda on several recent visits to Jerusalem and highly recommend it. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and it's located in the Talpiot neighborhood making it a short cab ride to much of the city. Nothing fancy but if your goal is to be out and about most of your time there it's a great find.

This is not a luxury hotel, but if you're looking for a simple, inexpensive and decent place to stay in Jerusalem, this is your choice. I had a two-beds room, a very basic one, with separated toilet and bath. Nothing special, but I was quite satisfied given the democratic price. However, I would recommend the hostel staff to improve the Wi-Fi connection and to put some simple carpets on the floor. Apart from that, the hostel is located in a very quiet, very cozy inner suburb that is not too far away from the Old City, something like 2 kilometers, so I often opted to go there and back again by foot. Besides, there's a good access to public transport system in that street, and a guest can easily catch a bus to Bethlehem or to the city in the Hebron Road, which is also something like 5 mins walk away from the hostel. There are a couple of tiny groceries on that street where a guest can buy some food, which is cool. Besides, a good thing about the hostel is that it has some nice outdoor tables and deck-chairs where a guest can have a pleasant evening coffee and an open-air supper after having an active day in the city. So in general, I say that I liked the hostel and its location, so if I ever go to Jerusalem again, I will most probably decide to stay at the Beit Ben-Yehuda again.

This guest house's location is very strategic. It can be reached with 2 buses from the Tel Aviv Ben Gurion airport, namely bus #485 and #7. The bus stops at Ein Gedi Street, arrive at the front door after 2 minutes walk. Going to US Embassy can be done with one bus within 5 minutes commuting from the same street. Visit to Israel Museum and Bible Land Museum with one bus is also very convenient. Jerusalem Old City and Bethlehem also can be reached with one Arab bus after walking down into next major intersection. Outdoor food court (First Station), post office and Hadar Mall can be visited by walking with mini markets along the way. Room was clean, but found a yellow-old-pillow and some hairs on the cover. A towel looks dirty and old as well. The room was furnished with 1 table, 1 chair, 2 beds and 2 additional beds hanging on the left and right wall. 2 sachet of shampoo and 2 small soaps were provided as well. It has 2 separate rooms for bath and toilet with a sink between. Stinky smell from the toilet, additional room refresher will be helpful. A very helpful folder was found at the table, giving information about Shabbat, places to go and how to get there along with buses prices. It has elevator to go from the kitchen (downstair), entrance, level 1 and 2. Water dispenser can be found at the dining room in front of the kitchen, but the faucet just looks old and has many mineral deposit. Room service is given daily with towel change every other day. It has 10 rooms in the guest house building. Because the rooms are close to each other, any baby cries, children playing, phone talks, and conversations in the alley can be heard from inside the room.
