We were dropped here by a trusted taxi driver and had absolutely no idea about the place. A delightful find or a final night's stay in Israel. This is a German monastery housed in a beautiful stone building from the late 1800's. Renovated rooms are quite comfortable with ensuite bathrooms, but with basic contemporary furnishings and do not quite fit the gorgeous building. In the middle of the German colony in Jerusalem ; in an historical new renovated building with gardens all around you will find the St . I stayed here in late September. Provided you are comfortable walking, and you need to be in Jerusalem, the location is very good. You can be in the old city in 20 minutes uphill.
