We've just left Abraham Jerusalem after 5 nights there, every day was fantastic. Staff were helpful and extremely generous, the bar area is cosy and great for meeting other travellers- a better atmosphere than Abraham Tel Aviv.

The location is perfect.Tram station is around the corner. Not far from old city and bus station. The rooms are very basic, but it is a hostel. Good is the breakfast room which you can use in the evening for sit together.
As a first time visitor I was to stay at a different hostel after my stay here but it was so pleasant here that I extended. Central to everything and they offer tours from here. Clean rooms, helpful staff,English abounds and great breakfast.

The hostel is conveniently located next to the tram line from the central bus and train station to the old city. Reasonably quiet rooms with coffee and tea facilities and a fridge. Good quality breakfast and they organize excellent tours.

While at the Tel Aviv hostel waiting for the shuttle to Jerusalem I saw a lady who was appeared to be in her 70s. No matter what your age, you are welcome here and will be comfortable!

Staying in the old city is great if you are solely interested in the religious sites. The old city is very quiet in the evening and most restaurants and bars are active in the new city center, which is right where Abraham Hostel Jerusalem is located.
From Abraham to the old city you can either walk 15-20 minutes or take the tram for 2 stations.
