Abraham Hostel has all the facilities you could ask for to enhance your holiday experience in Jerusalem. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The position is great - close to the bus station, tram, market and walking distance from old city. Very clean, comfortable, welcoming and serves a great breakfast in the morning. Will definitely be back.

When looking for a hostel the reviews were consistent and good so I gave it a go. The reviews and experience matched perfectly and our stay there was brilliant. We had a private economy twin room which met our needs perfectly (the only small problem was that we were above Jaffa street which did get a little noisy, but good...

The hostel is located next to the tram stop, so very accessible. It's also very close to the old city, around 10 min. by foot. Also the sheroot gathering for transport between tel aviv and jerusalem is close to the hostel as well, around 10 min. by foot. As for the hostel itself, the building is very big including a...

Spacious private room with breakfast. What more could you ask for… Near the old city and light rail. Staff is there to help. Rooftop bar is a plus. Organized tours of Israel depart daily to the old city, Masada and Galilee. They even have a hummus making workshop.

A striking feature of the Hostel are spacious public areas, even the corridors are spacious and has an elevator that works well. It provides good facilities for paxes prepare meals, or eat food brought from outside. It is interesting the hostel commitment to the recycling of waste and the rule that everyone washes dishes he used. Rooms are espacious, lighty...

The location is great in Davidsqa Square. Your right beside the tram line. 6.90 shekels for a one way Farr btw. A small shop next door is great for grabbing the bare essentials. Parking is down the street, it costs 60 shekels a night. Beware it's not well lit at night and if you need your car in the middle...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Abraham is known as the father of monotheism and was the first backpacker in the Middle East. He journeyed throughout the lands accepting hospitality from those whose homes he came to, and extending hospitality to anyone who passed near his tent. We wish to extend Abraham's Biblical hospitality to our time. We, the staff & owners of Abraham Hostels, created our dream hostel in Jerusalem to support travelers in the Middle East. The Abraham Hostel is located in Jerusalem's city center catering for independent travelers and small groups. Our location allows for easy walking access to all major sites such as the Old City or Mahane Yehuda Market. There are plenty of public transportation options right outside to various Jerusalem sites, as well as to the international airport and other cities in Israel and the West Bank. The hostel offers daily activities and tours in our ongoing effort to encourage travelers to make new friends and new experiences. Whether it's our hostel bar, traveler's information center or chill-out rooftop, we try to provide everything an independent traveler needs when travelling in the area. For those traveling outside Jerusalem there is a special discount when staying in Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv and the Fauzi Azar Inn in Nazreth, as well as special shuttle service between all three branches. ... more   less
