My trip to Jerusalem was particularly enjoyable because of the warmth and hospitality of Nir and Dalia, who welcome their guests with many amenities, such as magnificent breakfasts with wonderful food and many convivial guests. Their guest house is well located in a safe, family-oriented neighborhood and I felt able to walk alone to visit my friends who live in that very neighborhood in Jerusalem. I highly recommend House 57.

I had another great stay with Nir and Dalia at House57. I cannot tell you how many times I have stayed at House57 over the years but each time, I find it more and more enjoyable. Nir and Dalia are friendly and will do what ever they can to assist you with your stay and tour of Jerusalem as well as surrounding areas. They can also arrange transportation to and from the airport if needed. I had the privilege of staying at House57 in November and plan on returning in March to once again stay at House57. The breakfast is outstanding, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the house is close to the light rail, bus stop, and restaurants. I, once again, am privileged to recommend House57 to anyone who wishes to experience Israel with a true Israeli family. I am also happy to answer any questions that you may have in regards to visiting Israel and staying at House57. I can assure you that you will be comfortable and safe at House57.

House 57 is close to where my kids lived before they moved back to North America. I still choose House 57 when in Israel. The location is not central, but it is quiet; the capacity to cook for myself is welcome; Nir and Dahlia give unlimited personal service; and I meet THE MOST INTERESTING travelers at House 57. I am an observant Jew. This time at house 57, I met Christians participating in pro-Israel rallies. Israel gets so much undeserved negative press coverage - I was delighted to meet friends willing to speak out favorably. (If you find a collection of spices in small boxes in the downstairs kitchen, those were my daughter's. Enjoy!)

We could not have picked a better place to stay in Jerusalem!!! We arrived early but the owner Mir accommodated for us and quickly arranged for them to clean a room for us. He also came to the BB to meet us. He was very nice and helpful he spent time telling us about Jerusalem where to go what to see and eat! We were in a great location to see everything. We walked to the train station and from there took the train to and from old city everyday for 5 days. It's the best and cheapest way to get around Jerusalem. We went to old city and explored all the quarters it was an okay experience there are so many people you can't really take time to appreciate it all. Make sure you go to the Holocaust and Jerusalem museum and plan to stay a whole day at each there is so much to see at both museums and both are really nice!! Our room was great it was very spacious and very comfortable especially since we're staying there for 5 days!! It had satellite TV, air conditioner and the bed was comfortable. There was days we would walk back late but we always felt safe and we're not far at all from the bb. The only thing is we had the same breakfast everyday maybe changing it up a little would have been good but it was good overall. Thank you Mir for all your help!! Great place to stay!!

I was there with the family (5) for couple of nights. Grocery store is down the street and to the old city is a short drive. Parking was free and plenty as well. Air conditioned was great in the hot hours and than there is nothing like Jerusalem breeze. The owner was great, very helpful and flexible and the price is the best in all of Israel. if it was up to me I would have stayed there for my entire vacation. Highly recommended.

This is like my 5th or 6th review of House57 in Jerusalem. I keep reviewing this establishment because I keep staying there every time I visit Jerusalem. My returning to House57 should tell you that I enjoy staying with Nir and Dahlia, the location is wonderful as it is close to the light rail as well as buses, and is also close to the shopping center, post office, and OK restaurants. Both Nir and Dahlia will do what ever they can to make your stay a pleasant one. If you should ever have questions about the establishment, please fill free to write me.

Located in a quiet residential area, a few minutes drive from the Damascus gate (old city), and very near the highway heading to Dead Sea. Go there if you are looking for a friendly owner, knowledgeable, helpful and full of advice to enjoy your trip in Israel. No restaurant within immediate walking distance. Breakfast is served in the morning. Ask for a room with a view, it is worth!

We were looking for a place to stay In this area. Although we live very close to Jerusalem we did not know the place. It was a pleasant surprise to find a quiet place, clean and friendly in this neighborhood. If you are looking for asmall budget place to stay with easy access to the Old City and the holy places of Jerusalem this is the place for you.

These are the words of my wife Susanne. I find them important because they have been chosen by the eyes of a woman. The substance lies in the many storeys surrounded by flowers, bushes, small trees and terraces where one can sit and enjoy the sun. The district is select and quiet. The great breakfast terrace at the top is impressive as well as the breakfast itself. Good rooms, good kitchens! Communications to the city centre were very important to me and when I found the shortcut that leads to the buses and the light rail everything fell into place. Near the Old City also. If you want to stay at a very comfortable, pleasant and quiet place House 57 is for you! Fair prices for what you get too!

We booked two rooms here for our family of five: both were great, especially the lovely family room with a great view from the balcony. The host was very helpful and accessible. Breakfast was OK. Very convenient parking and near the light railway. We would be happy to book House 57 again.
