Very bad experience. Everything was broken. TV didn’t work, a large leak from the ceiling outside our room door was causing water to come u dear our door into our room, asked about it and they said the maintenance is at home so he can’t look at it until tomorrow, so I asked if they could put a bucket under it and he did but no one ever mopped up the water. , The heat wouldn’t work in the room for the first day. The day we checked in, after flying all night we laid down to take a nap and someone came walking into the room, no knocking - asked him what he was doing and he just stood there, the said he was checking for a second bed and walked out. This was a very bad experience for my first time to Jerusalem.
At first it was love at first sight...the hotel was trendy, modern and chique...with a New York feel to it. I didn't mind that it was small...but everything screamed NEW YORK. The hotel is also centrally located, so convenient in terms of accessibilty. However...(there is always a however in these reviews...) 1. There is no vehicular access to the building...no parking..so your airport transfer/cab can only drop off or pick you up a few metres away. You have to huff and puff with your luggage (no bell boy) quite a distance and down some steps. 2. Spent 4 nights there...and you would not believe housekeeping did not clean the room. They would come in make the beds scruffily...not neatly but scruffily..no dusting...trash was never collected...shower cubicle and toilet not touched.... and they would change the towels at least! I Complained every morning and evening and the clueless front office acted surprised and promised this would be actioned upon....but guess what...nothing! So, trash accumulated faster than the dust, the dust accumulated faster than the frustration, the frustration piled on more the dirt on the hallway carpet.(it wasn't just my room that was never cleaned) Such a fine establishment with no housekeeping protocols...at one point one of the front office men...came to clean the room begrudgingly. It's like they don't have a specific housekeeping team-so lets just let anyone come and clean up some! Front office staff was friendly and helpful...but since none of the complaints were taken seriously it left but a bad taste. 3. They have no restaurant. You get a voucher for breakfast at a nearby lovely diner. Which was fine but at times its good to have access to some food like in the evening. Would I go back???? No thanks, a fine establishment like that cannot operate like an AirBNB!…
perfect location near the best restaurants, bars and nighltife in Jerusalem. amazing service by the staff and many snacks on house. very recommended by us. our visit was at the evening of the new eve year 2023!
The hotel is on a building on Jaffa Street but the entrance is on the side so can easily be missed. The 1st issue was that the taxi driver told us that cars we not allowed on Jaffa Street so we had to drag our luggage. The staff were not particularly informative and the reception area tries to be trendy with musical instruments around. There is water and coffee available. Strangely we could not find any food or a bar in this hotel. The situation is good for the tram which is about 100m away. There is a 15-20 minute walk to Jaffa Gate and the old town along the very uninspiring street. The room was strange. There was a large patio with a jacuzzi and yet the room itself was so small that we had to move a chair outside. Bed was comfortable enough though. The combined bathroom and toilet was done out in black. The whole bathroom area had transparent glass walls although there were curtains it was difficult to give yourself any privacy and we felt uncomfortable. The bedroom was not a pleasant place for lingering and we will not be back here.…
We were stay at the couple room. The room was very small but that was not the worst thing. We didn’t have a privacy at all in the bathroom. The only thing that separate the room from the bathroom is just a curtain and a thin glass door that doesn’t close Completely. A failed decision by the hotel in planning the room
Brand new hotel right at the corner of Machaneh Yehuda market so you can't get a more central location than this hotel (i.e. market, restaurants, public transport). I would highly recommended this hotel.
Just perfect. Nice and kind staff at the reception, always ready to help. Good coffe or cappuccino in the morning is offered to the guests even when the breakfast is not included. Appetiser in the afternoon. The rooms are clean and with everything you need.
The location of this hotel can't be beat, but the main attraction for me, and I have stayed there twice in the last 4 months, is the amazing staff, especially the on-site manager, Ronit. She and her staff were always ready to attend to my requests. The rooms are also very nicely and elegantly styled. Since you're very close to Machne Yehuda and in the middle of a lot of action, the noise in the neighborhood can be a bit challenging at times, but I had no problem sleeping. I will definitely return.
For the perfect place to be right by the vibrant Machane Yehuda…..this has to be the place to stay. From the moment you walk in to the hotel, you know you are going to be looked after brilliantly. Don’t miss the chance to go to the roof terrace for an incredible view of the city
Lovely hotel but the service was the best! Mahmoud checked us in and was very welcoming and Ronit, the manager is just the nicest! Me and my husband booked a superior room for his birthday, went we got here we talked to Ronit and after quite a while if her trying to move things around we got an upgrade to a room with a hot tub!! Not only that, but she also gave us extra time for check out. The only reason for the 4 stars is the noise… but overall a wonderful experience We’ll definitely be back :)
