The King David’s reputation is well deserved. The location couldn’t be better. The accommodations, and service were excellent, and the breakfast buffet in the dining room was epic. I particularly loved the signed tiles on the main floor; seeing the notables who had stayed there was like walking thru history.

Spent 3 nights to celebrate a special anniversary . It was absolutely everything we’d hoped it would be . Service was amazing starting with Ron , who greeted us , brought us to our room , gave a history tour of this fascinating hotel , got us a cab etc . Breakfast must be eaten at the lush King David buffet ! Pool was magnificent, you truly felt whisked away to a lush tropical paradise . Room amenities were gracious … really a perfect experience . We WILL be back !

Not only is this hotel historic, it is beautiful, well-located and has amazing service. This is my new favourite Jerusalem hotel. The architecture is stunning, as is the pool. I also enjoyed the responsiveness of the breakfast staff... and the shakshuka.

The King David is in a prime central location in Jerusalem; Just a short 5 minute walk to Malmilla mall, and then 5 more minutes to Jaffa Gate to enter the Old City. The hotel offers a free two hour tour of old city on Fridays and Saturdays with archeologist Dr. Haim Cohen which was thoroughly educational and fascinating. As other reviewers have noted, the breakfast buffet is extraordinary, and the Shabbat meal service is top-notch. The pool and garden area behind the hotel is an oasis of green and calm, a great place to relax in the midst of the city of Jerusalem. So many excellent staff members. Hanny, Isaac, Ali, and more in the restaurant. Charles and Basel at the front desk/lobby. Yes, the king David costs more but it’s definitely worth it! Beautiful architecture, excellent staff, and prime location. Will return.

We stayed in a suite with a balcony overlooking the pool and Jerusalem. We also paid in advance to have the buffet breakfast included. Amazing hotel, perfect location to walk the city and excellent customer service. Breakfast; this is a highlight for us as we love Mediterranean food. This is the only hotel we will stay in for future visits to Jerusalem.

King David hotel is by far the most special hotel in Israel because of it's almost 100 years history and unbeatable location facing the old city in Jerusalem from a close distance . The hotel has kept it's original luxurious and beautiful style .Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite with a small balcony facing the old city . The room was beautiful and stylish and practical . On Saturday morning there is a complimentory walk to the jewish quarter led by the archiologist Haim Cohen which was very nice and educating . The possibility of checking out late on Saturday is an important advantage of the hotel and we could enjoy the room and the view untill late afternoon on Saturday , I strongly recommend the hotel even to those who knows Jerusalem and it is would certainly be my choice to any tourist visting this so special city . Special hotel for a very special city .

The King David offers a 5 Star experience. Our only choice when staying in Jerusalem. The location is the best, the service is outstanding, the rooms are impeccably clean, with every amenity you can think of including individual tissue packets! We never tire of the Old City views. Jeremy Weiss, Concierge is always available to assist, Meirav tends to our reservations and everyone at the front desk is personable and there to help with any request. It is most comforting whenever we return to the King David the staff from the front desk to the dining room are a constant eluding the feeling as if we are coming home to see old friends.
