I would rate this hotel a 3 & 1/2 * to a 4*. No more. Location is good and pretty convenient to the Kotel (Western Wall), Old City and to the shopping areas. Some of the party had to take taxi-cabs though... too difficult to walk for older and/or infirm people. And the taxi's overcharge and rip off tourists. Make...

My wife and I just got back from Israel where we spent a week at the dan panorama hotel in Jerusalem. Everything there was great from the room, food, courteous service and cleanliness. One special note of thanks goes to Natalie Shalom, a service manager who went out of her way to retrieve a photograph my wife left in Tel...

The rooms are outdated, small and dull. Furniture chipped and in bad need of renovation (obviously I was in the old section). Walls need repainting. The lift stops at every floor on Shabat so had to use the stairs which was ok as I needed the exercise. Not so good for the elderly people in our group.

We were on a tour and this was the hotel booked. It is an old and tired hotel. Furniture chipped wood veneer peeling - in desperate need of a refurbishment. Although wifi was free the service was irregular and slow and my main point of dissatisfaction with the hotel. If you do decide to stay here ask for rooms in...

This hotel is a stones throw from the Old City, many restaurants, and parks. The staff is very helpful, the housekeeping right on the ball. Only minor quibble is that the king bed was actually two twin beds with separate linens and non-fitted sheets that would not stay put. Very nice public areas and an amazing breakfast buffet. Would gladly...

Our room was clean, small but decently appointed. The location was quite good and the staff was kind. If you have the option, you may wish to choose one of the newer rooms as they are a bit larger. From the moment we arrived, Dan Panorama made us feel at home! Cal, Shira and Nassan at the front Desk welcomed us to our Delux Plus room on the 8th floor. We were told by our tour company that the Dan was a 5 star hotel. Perhaps the really upscale hotels are 7 and then the 5 star rating would be warranted. There is a newer section that might be more in line with the rating. The accommodations are average, the breakfasts are gigantic and tasty but very busy. The internet...
