I booked a suit in the Addar hotel and stayed for one night. The stuff was extraordinary friendly and I had a very comfortable stay in a silent area in Jerusalem. I really liked the breakfast in the morning with Mahmoud and the other employees: Eggs, Olives, Tomatoes, Tahina, Hummus and everything else that makes an Israel breakfast Israel. Thank...

Addar hotel has definitely seen better days. The whole hotel seems to be missing an upgrade and thus the pictures and text on their web side give a completely different picture than the current state. Some examples: the garden is filled with junk, gym has been closed several years ago, the interior in the rooms is very old. The breakfast...

When you first look at this hotel on the map you may feel its out of the way, but infact the opposite could be said. This hotel is 4 minutes walk from bus and tram stops, 8 minute walk to mea sharim 12 to geula and 17 to the junction of jaffa and king George. I found the staff to be...

Addar was in a great location, just a short 10min walk to the old city. The food at breakfast was great, the service was impeccable as everybody at the hotel was very welcoming and friendly for such an affordable price. A special thanks goes to Mohammed who worked at the reception and offered us invaluable advice everyday with regards to...

We stayed in this hotel for few nights few months ago. The location is good. It is only 10 minutes by walk from the Old Town. There is no light in the street where is the main entrance (when it'ss dark). We found ants in the bathroom and the jacuzzi looked the way you really will not want to lay...

Agree with most other reviews of this hotel - the best, and only, things of note were the location (10 min walk to Old City) and the hospitable reception staff (Mohammed). Unfortunately everything else let's this place down - the decor is extremely dated, and what is there is not well maintained. Every surface is covered in a thick layer...

Small ish hotel without evening meals but near to larger hotels you can eat in if needed. Rooms did have separate living rooms (which we wanted) but rather dated, very harsh lighting, no plug in bathroom sink, wi-fi didn't work (but able to connect to neighboring hotel's free wi-fi), only 1 glass in the kitchen not 2 etc. Under 10...

Situated in close proximity to the old city, in a precinct with more expensive hotels around (American Colony, Leonardo, Grand and Olive Tree), fairly quiet area. I planned an overnight stay with my wife and adult daughter and friend, to enable them to experience the atmosphere and multiple cultures that make up Jerusalem. We were attracted by the advertised features(http://www.addar-hotel.com...

This hotel is very close to 3 large hotels on St. George street. However, the entrance is on a much smaller street that is impossible to get in and out of, and it's very dark at night so you can entirely miss the hotel. The hotel was relatively clean and basic, and the price matched that as it was not...

We liked the location of the Addar Hotel. It is a short distance (ten minutes walk) from the Damascus Gate, an entrance to the Old City, and opposite the American Colony Hotel. The staff at the hotel were always helpful and courteous. We loved the breakfasts! Mahmoud served us warm croissants each morning and there was a selection of freshly...
