I stayed here five years ago and was told the reason the hotel was in such a disarray is that it was under construction for remodeling. Now we are in 2023 and the hotel is still in disarray… There is black mold in the bathroom, elevators do not work, there is no air conditioning … Because it is their winter they have only the heaters on, even though it is 80° outside. The walls are thin and you can hear everything that goes on outside of your room. I will say, though… The food is wonderful!

We have just stayed for 2 nights in this hotel with a tour group. The worst hotel we have stayed in over the 2 weeks we have been here. Tired and worn out and packed with people. Poor food with people lining up for 15 -20 minutes to get lots of salads, limited meat dishes and stale bread. Avoid if possible. PS. I note the standard response to a poor review is for Managment to say they can find no record of the reservation.

This hotel caters to tourists that it clearly never expects to see again. The only service is poor, which is an understatement. Staff can only be so incompetent if trained and rewarded for being so. Poor food, elevators don’t work, check in staff mixes credit card accounts, and the list only gets worse. Avoid at all costs. Do not allow your tour company to put you here.

Everything is cold! Food is cold. Room is cold. Especially, service people are very cold with long faces! Waters at the lobby bar had strong attitude, very unfriendly! Terrible experience! Absolutely not to stay again! Not recommend to any one! Just avoid this hotel!

as we arrived there we were very disappointed from the spa and the waiting room it looks very poor dirty and smell of mold The girl who was supposed to be giving me a relaxing massage was very unprofessional and kept bad mouthing some of the staff as well as bossing me and saying ive left the room in 5-10 min it was enough for me never again

On the famous Mount Scopus near the Hebrew University Campus, The Mormon Jerusalem Temple and Hadassaj Hospital The former Larom Hotel changed owners and became part of the Dan Hotels Big hotel with nice rooms Big lobby and meeting areas Good food Excellent Brakfast Quick and tentative service Good parking quite bussy Detached from downtown Jerusalem My suggestion to ask upper floor with view of the town It will be nice to open direct pedestrian path to the main street enabling use of the train and public buss

My group that was touring Israel over the holidays included a half dozen rabid UGA Dawg fans who faced the problem of missing the CFP Semi-final game against Ohio St. that was airing at 3am Israel time. Randa and the staff at the Dan J hotel allowed us to take over the hotel bar starting at 9pm to watch the Sugar bowl and both CFP games on the big screen TV that we hooked up to my laptop to stream the broadcast. I've traveled all over the world and I'm certain I've never had a hotel staff say yes to such a request without any hesitation and help meet every need required to pull off this watch party of a lifetime.

I get to the hotel for a bussiness work in jerusalem,the recpition was perfect the check in was good i have special request and they did there best and i recived a excellent service.The brekfast was rich with many types of food, I recived a perfect service from the manger of the dinnig room as i remmber his name was mike. Finally I just want to mention that it was a long time that i recived a service perfect like that and the hotel was clean and have a nice atmoshper.

The hotel is quite big and rooms are good. There are no many choices. We were mostly unhappy with the overall services. Our room check in was 3 pm and it was not ready till 4 pm. At reception, the wise guy said the policy is from 3 pm - clearly a silly remark. None of the reception staff were friendly. The worst one is the omelet cook at the breakfast. I am too upset to describe him.

I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel king david Dan hotel . From arrival at service desk everything was efficiently handled by Karawi ! You might think a Jewish hotel with mezzozot on every door is staffed by all Jews , but no he is a wonderful, hospitable ,efficient Arab and represents the wonderful staff at Hotel king david. our room, bed , view, amenities all were perfection ! The restaurant selections and buffets were sumptuous and scrumptious ! Treat yourself to a fabulous experience when in Jerusalem .
