the room is worn out, the soundproofing is bad. the noise is heard not only from the next room, but also from the street. badly in need of renovation. Breakfast and dinner are rich and delicious. Lobby wine bar is pretty overpriced and sometimes you have to wait for the bartender

Not a tourist friendly hotel, it only caters to locals who have a Friday dinner for religious purposes. On two nights in a row guest were loud late at night, called the front desk twice and did not do anything about the situation.

The hotel is more a budget tourist hotel rather that 4 stars. It is far from any amenities.A good 20 minutes walk to the closest shops. However the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The have a buffet restaurant which is not too bad and reasonably priced.

Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and gold stay in Jerusalem. I have 4 points to rate this hotel excellent: 1. Wonderful Staffs (special mention to Michael Feign, also Shereen and Karam. In the restaurant, Khaled, Omar, Khalil and Taseer, they are accommodating and helpful. Housekeeping is also fast and courteous. 2. Delicious Food. The restaurant ambiance is warm and inviting, and the food is amazingly delicious. The breads are freshly baked and the selection is large. 3. Location is near the Light Train (Kiryat Moshe station). This is just across the road. 4. Rent-a-Guide tour is picking up and dropping off in this hotel. This tour company is highly recommended too for excellent tour guides and coaches. Rooms are comfortable though you will see some flaws on duvets, tubs and dirt marks on curtain and carpets. But overall, good. The water bottle is free only for the 1st day. Compare to other hotels (probably in UAE) where water bottles are free daily. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and we recommend this hotel.

Excellent customer service, the staff always seeks to fulfill/accomodate our requests. The check in staff Shireen was most helpful & sincere. The food is good especially the Shabbat meals, which we enjoyed with the wonderful atmosphere of local & foreign patrons. The hotel is clean & peaceful. The convenience of the Light Rail a minute away is great. Staff Morsi & Khaled particularly hv extended very warm middle eastern hospitality and always checking if everything is alright and if they can help to make our stay better. All the staff from frontdesk to restaurant to housekeeping, are helpful and all speak English. The internet works well too. We are also happy to hv the synagogue for times of prayer. We love the diversity of guests from different nations that we get to meet daily. We are staying total 13 days and initially thot we might want to try different hotel. However, we are most happy to stay on. Even tho, the room furniture & carpets are old & could do with a change, the hospitality of the hotel overshadows that drawback. We also thank the prompt outreach via email communications even prior to our arrival & our requests were taken into account by Michael Feigin, Reception Manager. Staff Shireen seemed to know our requests upon our check-in. Staff Imda (hope his name is correct) gv a call as soon as we were in our room to check if all was ok. He sent via Staff Morsi a large bouquet of cheerful balloons to celebrate my 33rd wedding anniversary, compliments of hotel. We will definately like to return to this hotel & recommend it as well. Blessings to Prima Park Hotel for their excellent service efforts!

From visiting jerusalem About 5/ 6 years ago either my sister we stayed at the prima park. Even then Incredibly expensive, the food absolutely horrible Iam proud of my religion Jewish. I took a chance on staying there again, After 4/5 Emails I sent cursity. They never took the time to reply . I arrived on the 18th September After a nightmare journey from telaviv. No hospitality wine anymore This hotel cost me very much For 7 nights Of which am looking at compensation of which I will be contacting my holiday company. The carpet was disgusting, stains All over Terrible view overlooking the car park Food disgusting Execpt for the shabbat meal at a cost of 180 israel shekels. I decided to have 1 pint of beer On the Wednesday. And I always pay as I get Because there are so many hidden charges . The young girl serving me asked me my.room number Bit weird. When I was paying cash . Yet the hotel Only had it down for me to pay From a statement I got . Unbelievable I was given 1 complentary drink . What is all that about , The staff Girls in the restaurant are so ignorant And look like they don't want to be there . I can assume everyone at that hotel are just trying to get what they can out of you. Even when enquiring about a shuttle to the airport. Absolutely ruined my stay Never recommended at all . It has not put me off jerusalem. Old city But that hotel prima park. Never again I will be looking towards compensation Mark Andrew Barnett

We spent 4 nights at the Prima Park in connection with a conference at the nearby Hebrew University campus. The hotel is as sad, worn and shabby as others have reported - gross carpets, sagging sofas in the hallways, nasty bathroom grout, chipped furniture, etc. Our room was tolerably clean, but the dust and grime under the bed suggested that it isn't thoroughly mopped between guests. The hotel was loud at night because it hosts college-age tour groups, and the kids would hang out in the hallway until 1:00 or 2:00 AM until we yelled at them. One morning, there was a kid sleeping in the hall in his underwear. The breakfast was not the best we've experienced in Israel, but there was a good variety, and the atrium-like dining space is nice. The main problem with this hotel is its location, which is terrible for independent travelers who are not being ferried around by tour bus. It's on the periphery of central Jerusalem. There is nothing to do, and nowhere to eat, in walking distance. The roads around the hotel are pedestrian-hostile. The only comfortable way to get into central Jerusalem (other than by taxi) is by light rail, which is accessible by walking around the back of the hotel on an asphalt path -- next to a bridge overpass -- and then crossing a big intersection. So, if you are on a budget, the Prima Park is an OK choice. Just be aware that you aren't going to be experiencing the sights, sounds and atmosphere of Jerusalem - and isn't that why you are going there??
