This hotel is dirty. Food is barely edible. Electrician's nightmare. You can't move around in the shower. The beds are tiny. Noisy because of location. Elevator does not function. Must have been built a millennia ago and they have been patching it together ever since. Do not book.

For the price of 75 dollars you can get a small room with a full bed and a toilet seat with the cover broken (which they fixed within in an hour). The hotel is old. BUT IT IS SIMPLY CHARMING. It provides the exotic and old world charm that permeates this wonderful city. The opportunity to submerge yourself in this...

I had a 4 night stay here recently. Location for walking was wonderful. My room however was not. Maybe its because it was a single room, but the first room was shabby and dirty-garbage left in bins, floor not swept, window ledges dirty, poorly maintained room. The room for my last night- actually a 1 1/2 hour stay because of...

The best part of the New Imperial was the location - incredibly handy to the old town and also close to the newer part of the city (close to the tram stop too!). With this central location definitely came some noise at night. We felt it was worth it, but if you're a light sleeper this might not be the...

We read the reviews and were convinced this was the place we should stay for our 9 nights in Jerusalem (April 24 to May 3, 2017). I booked through Travelocity's Vacation Packages and did most of our tours through Viator. We explored the Old and New cities on alternate days. We did the whole trip for two for less than...

Situated next to Jaffa Gate within the old citywall you have the best starting point to walks in the old town and also to some good restaurants. The building itself is more than 100 years old and a refurbishment would be useful..... especially the windows, since it is very noisy around the hotel, and to sleep...... well forget it. Life...

The hotel surely has seen better days, room looks a bit shabby and outdated, but the place has a certain vibe. Location is really great, however it also can get noisy, the breakfast is excellent! Don't miss the rooftop!

Not luxury hotel, but nice enough and the location is the best. Parking was easy at Karta. Contrary to other information on this site, the parking is easy, you CAN park overnight, and you CAN park on sabbath. Parking is less than 5 minute walk to hotel.

The best-best-best location! 5-7 minutes to all places you need in the old town. But rooms... Vintage maybe. If you come to walk/travel and will stay there only for nights - no prob. But be ready for strange smell, too old bedsheet and an absence of meat on breakfast. But the price is fair. The owner is very kind and...

For those looking for a great deal, great location, and great service, this is ideal. I love being inside the Old City and this spot is minutes walk to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Western Wall, or Mamilla. The building has character and architectural interest. The rooms are simple, clean, and have more than adequate bathrooms. The breakfast...
