The YMCA Three Arches Hotel, with its 152 ft high central bell tower, is a Jerusalem landmark recognized the world over. Designed by the world famous architect of the Empire State Building, the hotel offers a blend of old world charm, friendly hospitality, art works and architectural wonders, together with modern, comfortable accommodations to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay in this remarkable city. The external facade of the hotel bears intricate sculptures and inscriptions in English, Arabic and Hebrew reflecting the YMCA's historical role as a meeting place and a spiritual haven in this intense and ancient city. The beautiful gardens and lawns, graceful shade trees, and stone pathways around the hotel are open for our guests' strolling pleasure. The hotel's public areas feature high-ceiling halls and walls often lined with colorful modern works of Israeli and Palestinian artists. The elegant Archibald C. Harte Restaurant restaurant serves culinary delights to our guests, with its garden terrace a delightful oasis in the midst of the city on sunny days and mild evenings. That same sense of tranquility pervades the hotel's rooms and suites, where guests may relax and gather their strength for days of sightseeing or meetings in bustling Jerusalem. The ancient Jaffa Gate, main entrance to the fascinating walled Old City, is just a few minutes' walk away, as are shops, vibrant cafes and restaurants as well as the cultural attractions and night life of the modern metropolis. Three Arches Hotel awaits your arrival, at the very heart of Jerusalem, where peace and quiet reigns, with a pervasive sense of welcome and well-being.

Three Arches is a special place, both in it’s architectural design and in the overall charm and comfort. The staff -(specifically the front desk staff and the gentleman providing security) - are unfailingly kind and supportive, and always eager to assist the needs of their guests. It was a perfect change after four days in an Airbnb in the middle of the city. And this location is a great walk to Yemin Moshe, the German Colony and the Old City. Our room overlooked King David Street, and we could see the the mountains in the distance. The sunrise was beautiful, as was the unexpected snowfall during our stay. The room was very pretty - spacious, and extremely comfortable and clean. The tile on the bathroom floor is quite elegant- as was the bed headboard which backlit a carved vista of the Jerusalem skyline. It was very nice to see the small children and their families arriving/leaving for a daycare in the building. The hotel is extremely family friendly, and there were was a lot of joy among the families at the unexpected snowfall as they played outside in the snow. Breakfast is also very good, and very reasonable.

The architecture of the hotel building is very beautiful and interesting, it's history is no less interesting. Such houses have a special atmosphere. The hotel is located in a great location, in the city center, but in a quiet and green area. The rooms are large and well equipped, the rooms and corridors are very clean. The staff are polite and friendly. I would especially like to note and recommend the excellent breakfasts. I am very glad that I chose this hotel.

A beautiful and unique hotel with authentic decorations and a beautiful garden. Clean, good service, great breakfast. Provided a basic camping cradle for the baby. Great location next to Yamin Moshe and near the old city. Not expensive compared to other hotels in the neighborhood.

Me and my wife stayed the weekend at YMCA hotel at Oct 21. It was a great weekend, the hotel is very beutiful with a great atmosphere.. Location is great walking distance to many atractions areas including the Cinematech, which is an advantage for us, actually we didn't move our car for 3 days.. Parking is comfortable and free.. The hotel and the room are very clean.. The breakfast is simple fresh and tasty.. Price is fare.. We did have some issues as followb: Mattress & the pelows are not so good.. Our room was the suite wuth 2 televisions, but it has a small amount of chanels even not 11 chanel and one with no 12 chanel.. No movie chanels.. And it seems that the display of both TVs is not tuned..picture size is bigger than the screen.
