We have been to the Inbal on numerous occasions. Despite having high expectations, they are always met Staff is very attentive and helpful The rooms and common areas are clean. Views are beautiful The breakfasts are outstanding with wide variety. I hope to return again and again I do not have enough superlatives to fully describe the hotel and staff
We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a tour group, and found it to be a wonderful hotel. Our breakfasts and dinners were provided as part of our stay, and the meals were all buffet with a wonderful variety of foods. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and with our late arrival our first night they had thoughtfully provided a food tray in the room. I loved the elevators - you told it a floor, and it directed you which elevator would take you there, almost always with minimal weight. Our room in theory had a view of the old city, but it was really the old city direction, with the walls sort of visible. That said, the location was excellent; we could walk to the city walls in about 15 minutes. I don't know the room rate since it was paid as part of our tour, but we would definitely love to stay here again on a future visit.…
We visited Israel for the first time and really wanted to have a great time. The hotel did outmost to make our impression of Israel hospitality remarkable! Concierge services assisted me in arranging airport-hotel transfer and gave me excellent recommendation regarding to which tourist agency to use for tours. Catering Management assisted us with unbelievable breakfast on the go as we were leaving early every day for Tours. Room, we had, was spacious, linen and bed quality 5 star! Any request we had were attended to almost immediately. Honestly, can't have a better service! Hotel has large, covered pool in winter and lifeguard on duty, so kids could enjoy while adults can go to sauna. They provide facility to lock your belongings while in the pool. Thank you everyone at Imbal!!!!!…
I have been staying at the Inbal since 1985 and look forward to every visit. It is a beautiful hotel reasonably priced, clean, a great group of people and everything else you could want during a vacation.
Miss Mishleen Zeidan made the entire trip spectacular. I hope the hotel management takes the appropriate steps to reward her for her great service as would I with a raise or a promotion. This trip had been stressful already but thank god it was made easier with the help of Mishleen Zeidan. Thank you again!
The hotel was wonderful -- the beds were comfortable, the staff pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms had everything we needed, and the box of dates was a yummy surprise. The location is close to restaurants, shopping, and a short walk to the old city.
The Inbal (I still call it the Laromme) is one of the classic hotels in Jerusalem. We stayed in a beautifully appointed renovated room with a small seating area. The breakfast is amazing, one of the best that I have ever had. It is a very warm and charming hotel that I really enjoy visiting. Two demerits are that there is very limited seating in the lobby because they use most of it as a restaurant and do not allow you to sit there unless you order something, and despite our room being renovated, the sink was already rusted and there are some water marks in the ceiling. They need to improve on the in-room maintenance.
Room is very clean and spacious. We stayed in a family suite where there is a king size bed and a pullout sofa bed which can sleep two as well and two bathrooms! Perfect for family of four. Staff are friendly. Location is good, about 10 minutes’ walk to old city Jaffa gate or Zion gate or Mamilla shopping area. Would definitely recommend! The only complaint is the breakfast buffet is quite pricy and not that great. Most things are cold or lukewarm.
My wife was sick one day. We stayed in, rather than going with our tour. Construction was going on in the room next to us. We called and they said we could move to another room. It was the last day before we left and said we didn’t want to move all our stuff. The reception clerk said not all our stuff, just us into another room so we could rest until 5 pm. And then go back to our room. They even brought up water and dates for us. Above and beyond. When we go back we are definitely staying there again.
I thought I lost my earring so I got on the floor to look. That was a mistake. Dust balls galore. The hotel is a for bus tours. Breakfast room like a slop shop. My husband nicknamed the hotel the “Inbad”. Way more money than the lavish Kempinski we stayed at in Tel Aviv that was immaculate and felt 5 star. Checked out a flight at 6:30am. Bellman we’re not in yet yo assist with luggage.
