On arriving at the hotel at 3 in the afternoon we were told that our room wasn't ready and after waiting a while we were given another room, even though the management was very apologetic for this happening it still wasn't a good beginning to our three day trip. The rooms are small and clean but not in my opinion that...

When we checked in we asked to switch rooms because the room we were given had an adjoining door. We agreed to pay an upgrade fee for a deluxe room, since a standard was not available. Upon first look it seemed fine. However, we soon realized the back ledge of the couch needed dusting, the toilet paper holder was non-existent...

I found this hotel through Expedia (cross checked reviews on TA) and decided to stay here for 3 nights. Being a family of 4 can become costly since outside the US because hotel rooms are typically set up for 2, but this hotel accomadated us. This hotel is equivalent to about a Hampton Inn; clean, comfortable beds, inroom safes, in...

My wife and I stayed at the Dan Boutique on recommendation by our travel agent's advise. We were not disappointed. The location allows a view of the Old City and is within walking distance of the Old City. Beware it is a walk down a valley and then up a steep walkway. Our room was facing the Old City and...

Not a very boutique hotel, since it is quite big and the décor is quite old style. It is good value for money, as the location and buffet breakfast are really good. However, service is rather poor. Any hotel who has housekeeping staff vacuuming the corridors at 8 am should be downgraded. Let guests sleep at least until 10! Room...

Dan Boutique, as has been pointed out in other reviews, is not really a "boutique" hotel. But in my 9 years of experience in Israeli hotels, it rated as one of the better experiences. In general, hotels in Israel tend to be expensive for what you get, customer service tends to be pretty poor, and most places look like they...

We choose this hotel for our three-day visit to Jerusalem primarily because of its supposed excellent location and the fact that it was boutique. It was neither. AND- they promise parking on site, which they weren´t able to live up to as we arrived on Friday afternoon (beginning of Shabbat), so we had to look for parking elsewhere... Well, it...

The advertising blurb in the hotel magazine says "located on a hilltop overlooking Mount Zion and the Old City Walls". The Dan Boutique is actually on a busy main road and although comfortable and convenient as a pied-a-terre, there is very little that's quaint about this hotel. The blurb goes on to talk about contemporary design features and "state of...

This really a little large to be called a Boutique hotel but it was pleasant. The rooms were okay and the breakfast was very good. The lobby area was welcoming and the staff was helpful. The location was good, near some very good restaurants and actually walking, a healthy walk, to the Temple Mount
