This is a good hotel at a reasonable price. The location is superb, sandwiched between the King David hotel and the YMCA. It is walking distance to pretty much everything. There is a warm and personable feel to the hotel. The breakfast is also very good, with a large selection of Israeli salads, cheeses, and other treats. Overall, a very...

The Eldan is located across the road from the King David, and 2 minutes walk from the Waldorf, Citadel and Mamila - in other words, an amazing and very expensive location! Yet the Eldan is a (relatively) budget/modest hotel. Everything works OK, the breakfast and Shabbat dinner were fine, the room and other facilities were fine. We very much enjoyed...

The best of the Hotel is definitely the location, in walking distance to downtown (Ben Yehuda Street) and the Old City. Rooms are a little small if you ask for a third bed, but for only two is fine. Breakfast is good, not fancy but with all you might want to eat. If you have a car, there is free...

A standard hotel close to the old city and the modern shopping area. Few facilities, but comfortable bedrooms and good breakfast (except on Saturday morning - as in most Israeli hotels). No international dining facilities on Friday evening.

We stayed here for a couple days prior to joining a tour of Israel. The Jaffa Gate was about a 15 minute walk. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was a decent size and faced King David Street. Despite that, the room was quiet when the windows were closed. Breakfasts were good with a wide selection. Definitely...

A very well located hotel, right next to King David Hotel and minutes walk to the Old City. Clean rooms and good service. Breakfast is standard Continental with some Israeli alternatives. Overall, a good value hotel in a quite safe area.

The hotel is situated close to the Mamilla Mall, and is about 10 minutes walk from the Jaffa Gate to the old city. It shares this prestigious location with much "posher" hotels such as the King David, It is very much more economical than its neighbours! Despite this, I had a room that was clean and well kept, a good...

Staff extremely accommodating to my needs. I was traveling with friends and checked in to the hotel for the last 2 days of my trip for which I was staying longer Han my group. I requested late check out as I had a late night flight. They allowed me to keep my room until 9:00 pm at no extra charge....

Pleasant, simple room - good extensive Israeli breakfast - excellent location. Helpful staff. There is a refrigirator in the room (no mini-bar). Bathroom amenities on basis Dead Sea chemicals. Rooms are soundproof - I had room on the busy King David street.

The hotel is almost opposite the King David Hotel and next door to the YMCA. Despite being set back from quite a busy main road it isn’t noisy. I booked a small double room (which I knew from the description would be small) but there was only about 1 foot on either side of the bed so there was nowhere...
