Excellent location, LOCATION! nice breakfast with variety and homecooked specials with local variety. Staff was very helpful, outside seating overlooking the Old City. close to so many bus stops to get around the city too. careful though that the balcony from your room is actually one balcony for many rooms with a divider- didnt like hearing others out the window.

What a blessing it was to stay here at St Andrew’s Scottish guesthouse ! Their hospitality was gracious. We have stayed here many times and each time we are reminded of the calm oasis it is. The location is so central. Easily accessible by bus and walking to all sites. The hotel is clean, comfortable and has a beautiful church and a garden. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. The hotel can host events in the patio and also inside. Events , we found out, can be hosted in the garden. Breakfast is included in the rate and is delicious with many choices. But the best reason to stay at St. Andrew’s is the staff. They are very kind and they really love what they do. Saha took care of our meals as she does for her own family with attention to every detail and with a heart of love.❤️🙏 Everyone was extremely kind , Tony the front office manager, Jack, Iman, Youssef, and all the others I may forget. For all you do, thank-you! Your Canadian friends greet you and hope to see you very soon! Everyone who has a chance to stay here should! Best wishes, Ken and Michèle

All we can say is "WOW!" This is a secret gem in Jerusalem. Now the secret it out. :) Want a small, clean, and appealing place to call home while you are in Israel? You will not find a nicer more cozy spot. The staff is amazing. Each goes above-and-beyond. They are led by Tony who is accessible and helpful beyond compare. Each morning a new array of breakfast treats are presented. We stay one week and had many new and wonderful surprises each morning. We can safely say that the home-cooked buffet was nothing short of amazing. The housekeeping staff also goes the extra mile. We often had our room freshened without even leaving our request card outside the door. They are great and the room was spotless. There is so much charm and warmth that you will have a great experience like we did. Also, the location is superb - just a short walk to First Station, and, a very modest walk to the Old City. We never tired of the views. Also, if you do book tours, the Ben Harim pick-up hotel is only about 10 minutes away. Everything within reach and everything you could want. This is a very special place with very special people. We were so glad it was our "home away from home." We would definitely go back. Tony and the team felt like family and made our stay special. Blessings to everyone there and thank you for all you did on our behalf!

A great place to stay within a short walking distance (15 minutes) from Jaffa Gate. Beautiful and tastefully renovated rooms with elegant public rooms and a good bar too. Lovely staff were always helpful.

Peaceful Paradise with Lovely Staff The St. Andrews Scots House is a lovely environment. From the moment you see the sign in the middle of a busy intersection, you enter into a secluded garden that leads up to this very special house. Beautiful high ceilings in the whole building. A warm, graceful lounge plays soothing music. The staff really enjoy working here to make the guests happy. They make you feel like family. Many thanks to Tony the manager and his wonderful staff for keeping the breakfast open after normal hours. So special. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed at St Andrews for a few days at the end of November. The views of the old city from the garden were stunning. The staff were all extremely pleasant and friendly. A highlight for us was the St Andrews night reception where we were entertained by the Catholic Arab Scout pipe band, with a fascinating fusion of Scottish instruments and Arabic rhythms. I'd definitely return here.

My husband and recently traveled to Jerusalem and stayed for 4 nights at the St. Andrew's Guest House. The grounds surrounding the hotel are simply beautiful. My husband and enjoyed beautiful sunrises in the back gardens. The buffet breakfast is incredible. It has many traditional Israeli dishes and more traditional options, as well. Our room was a bit small, but had a lovely balcony with an incredible view of the city. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Ibrahim was usually at the front desk and he was so helpful and friendly. When you get to the USA, Ibrahim, please look us up!
