It has an "excellent location" in the old city. The office of the A.H. was very good, coordinations and reservations work pretty good. Good breakfast, simple, not luxury, enough amount of food. Keep in mind that the old city is up and down for to walk a lot, no carsin the muslim quarter unless a private taxi that can leave you...

It was a nice and quite Hotel with an European organization. It was so nice to have tea time eating a good strudel ( little bit expensive) The terrace on the roof was amazing at overtime you visited it. I highly recommend to increase the breakfast. Highly recommended

Although my friend's and I didn't have the chance to actually stay at the Austrian Hospice, we did make it to the top & Oh My Goodness! The views from the rooftop are absolutely stunning. So fabulous!

After many years that the access to the roof was free of charge, they started to charge 5 shekels. Still, the views from the roof worth it. The coffee shop is nice. Sitting around the tables in the garden is an island of tranquility in the hectic surrounding. It's pitty that they heat the apple strudel in a microwave. It's...

It is located right at the Muslim Quarters. To enter, knock on the huge wooden door. I was there for a mass which started 15 mins before i arrived. I was late because i took a detour after the main road, jaffa street, was closed due to a terrorist suspect being arrested. Anyway, the Austrian receptionist outright told me "you...

I stayed here as a solo traveler in June 2016, at 84 Euro/night. Austrian Hospice is convenient to many of the old city sights, and you can feel that you're in the middle of a historic area, for sure. Some rooms overlook the Dome of the Rock, which is romantic / atmospheric. Overall, it is as others have reviewed: very...

The Austrian Hospice is a well fortified piece of "das römische Reich," right in the middle of the Muslim quarter of the Old City. It is beautiful inside and out, it is run very efficiently, and in addition to the well-known rooftop many of the guest rooms also afford spectacular views. It is easy to pick up a conversation with...

The Austrian Hospice close to Station five on the Via Dolorosa is a peaceful retreat from the packed stalls and shopping "souk" which is the Via Dolorosa itself. It is a fine building with a pleasant garden and small lunchtime Menu with a small choice of acceptable drinks. I had a single main course of Wiener Scnitzel with Potato salad...

You would never know there is an Austrian cafe run by the benevolent nuns, it feels like you have discovered a secret! The pastries and coffee are good, but the best part is sitting outside in the sun, in the private and secluded garden, looking out over the city, and catching a quiet, reflective moment. The rooftop view is worth...

This is a go-to spot if you are looking for a place to relax in between sightseeing. After hours of touring the city, we visited the Austrian Hospice which offered a secluded outdoor space to relax and grab a coffee and apple strudel. This felt like a little piece of Europe inside the Old City. If I had more time...
