This small family hotel has all the modern amenities needed in a refurbished older building. I stayed here last in 2007 and the family member checking me in remembered me :) This doesn't happen often when you travel overseas. My luggage was lost and the room had toothbrush and toothpaste, etc -- all I needed since one cannot carry these...

We recently stayed at the Jerusalem Hotel for 3 days. The hotel has great atmosphere and feels like a home, a feeling strengthened by the warmth of the owner and his staff who could not have made us more welcomed. The rooms have high ceilings, beautiful antiques and stone walls. The informal restaurant on the front terrace is a very...

The hotel is lovely with high ceilings, big stone walls, tapestries and nice antiques - true character. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and for my welcome drink I had the mint lemonade, divine. It is a great location very close to the Damascus Gate. And has a welcoming feel to it especially the terrace.

Lovely boutique hotel with an excellent location! Good breakfast, great staff. The terrace is a wonderful place to have dinner or an after-dinner drink. The wonderful Taybeh beer, from Taybeh in Palestine is available. Try it!

I have stayed here many times over the past decade. The first time I stayed here I knew nothing of Jerusalem - I picked it more or less at random and was surprised by the loveliness of the hotel, the lively charm of the restaurant, and the exceptionally warm hospitality. My second visit was about six months later. That morning...

We stayed for four nights in mid-September, 2014. This in an old Arab hotel in a Palestinian neighborhood just 5 minutes walk from the Damascus Gate. For us it was perfect. The staff are wonderful, and the garden area in the front where we had our breakfast was a great place to unwind at the end of the day where...

We found the the hotel a welcoming retreat after traveling in the region and then spending time in the Old City. Cool and restful rooms - stay on the first floor and at the back, and use the small balconies to sit out in the early morning for a coffee. Spend the evenings in the 'garden' (really more a conservatory)...

Arrived late in the evening with friends and were greeted warmly and offered a complimentary drink on arrival at the hotels restaurant. We were leaving at 3am the following morning to go on a hike to Masada. The hotel staff prepared us sandwiches to take with and set aside a snack bag for us to take on the hike at...

Stayed in this Arabian style "boutique" hotel in East Jerusalem for 4 nights. I requested a quiet room but the room I got was a bit noisy (facing the restaurant & dust from construction sites). The hotel was fully booked up so it was difficult to change a room. but I appreciated the effort that the staff members (all hospitable and...
