Low quality room. Very bad service. Room and linen dirty. Air handling unit and ventilation ducts from back of the hotel will make noise all night ... they are changing hotel name constantly to avoid complaints

This placed masquerades online as the Mamilla hotel (including on booking sites) - a five star hotel across the road, by calling itself "City Hotel Mamilla" and using photos of the Mamilla hotel. It is not. Not even close. The check in is in a supermarket. When we realised the fraud, we left and went across the road to the...

Firstly, this hotel did note ruin our time in Jerusalem, in fact we found the sheer horror of it very funny. This hotel is in a superb location, right by the Old City and only a few minutes walk from some superb bars and restaurants. If hotel standards are important to you DO NOT stay here. We paid $98 for...

The City Hotel is a small modest hotel above a 24/7 supermarket, which may seem tacky but is great for travelers who need snacks and odds and ends during their hotel stay . The rooms are small but modern. The location is probably the most central for tourists interested in visiting the Old City and the numerous shops and restaurants...

Stayed here 2 days ago. Very central location, extremely good value . Perfectly adequate. Clean rooms , 24 hour supermarket below for all your needs . I highly recommend this hotel for anyome that is looking for good value in the heart of jerusalem . Very nice management too, they go out of their way to assist.

A nice and simple hotel worth of your money, above a 0-24 shop which has everything you will need. The old city is just a few minutes walk. Gidon, the owner is very kind and helpful - he was very flexible and understanding when we had illness troubles.

Use "hotel" loosely - its more like a private room in a hostel. There is no hotel front desk or reception - it's only 7 rooms run next door by the Grocery store. The staff at the Grocery store (the person at the grocery check out cash register is the person who checks you into the rooms) were exceptionally rude....

5mn walk from the old city and from bars and restaurants downtown jerusalem. nice rooms and very clean. The hotel has no reception so ask to the cashier at supermarket which is the same owner. Cleaning rooms every morning but no breakfast. When you arrive a present is waiting for you : a bottle of wine and some fruits .

“We stayed at 3rd floor face to street, saw the worker planted impatiens at end of Nove. However, this nice hotel had no elevator yet.”

“If you get a room with the view of the main street, you get to see people coming and going at all hours but it can be a bit noisy sometimes.”

“Rooms facing the street have more light and good view, but more noise due to the traffic (you might want to close the window for the night). Send your preferences earlier to get a room fitting your requirements - the owner, Gidon, was very nice and dynamic with us.”

“There are only 7 rooms, I don't think there were any "good" rooms, but I understand that the rooms facing the street are larger than the ones that do not face the street (trade -off though would be street noise!)”
