Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Rooms spacious, well equipped and clean. Breakfast good. Restaurant OK - limited choice and a bit pricy but good enough if you don't fancy going out. It has a smoking terrace if you need one. The hotel location is good - 10 minutes walk down to Damascus Gate into the Old City. Lots... More

We arrive at the hotel and we were welcomed by the manager who was extremely corteus and kind. When we arrived to the room we found sweet chocolate snaks and cold water. The rooms were clean, the bathroom very clean and ample. Air conditioning functionnned very well (its is summer now May 2015). The restaurant has a very good diverse... More

The hotel is nice, however do mind if you take a bath, you need to be very careful, if not, you will get your room flooded. All soaps and shampoo from dead sea products which is nice.. Breakfast and dinner also nice, a bit lack of variety on breakfast.. But dinner is great. My family plan to go to baitul... More

Excellent location and wonderful front desk staff. Love the neighborhood and walking distance within the Old City. The front desk gave us the map of all the holy sites and did not have any problem. If you need any info, just talk to Nirvana and she will arrange it for you. Nirvana called Tel Aviv city bus tour and provided... More

National (Al-Watany) Hotel is centrally located near Damascus Gate. At a walking distance from the sights of the old town, the hotel is equally near to bus station to Bethlehem and the Mount of Olive and the light rail stop Shivitei Israel to West Jerusalem. The neighbourhood itself, like many parts of East-Jerusalem is a bit run down and not... More

Totally loved the place! Hotel staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate any request we had. The breakfast selection was vey good. The Hotel... More

We made our reservation online prior to our visit. The reservation was made for three people in one room. When we arrived at the hotel, it was late at night and we were tired from our journey. The hotel charged us an extra $100 USD and told us we were free to go find other accommodations if we did not... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in April. Rooms were fine, location good (10 min walk from Damascus gate) breakfast very nice (eggs to order, buffet with lots of variety) and really friendly, helpful staff...gave me loads of help re cabs, directions, how to get to places using cheap local buses rather than expensive tours. Only downside for me was that... More
