Dirty, old, and irresponsible. Our friends leave some products on hold until our way back, and they lose them or steal them. Nobody is to face the facts. The rooms and facilities are filthy. Disgusting in services too. Please save yourself a bad experience.

The worst experience staying in a hotel. The rooms very dirty. They do not clean and only put clean towels. Unsafe place, I left some personal items to be able to travel to Jordan and pick them up when I returned to Jerusalem and when I arrived they simply told me that you had lost them, that surely some other guest had taken them, they told me all of the above without taking responsibility for it, They did not solve anything, they simply disclaimed any responsibility. I would never stay at this hotel again. I hope my comment can save someone from living an experience like this. Don't be fooled the hotel doesn't even look like it does in the photos

A mid-range, somewhat tired hotel. The rooms towards the pool are somewhat larger that the ones to the back. Of course, the higher rooms have better views, we stayed at the 4th floor towards the back, facing the roof of the parking and facing the stairs leading upward to the next street. The hotel was built 1972, and it shows, e.g. stained carpet in the hallway, non-functional safe in the room and a tired bathroom. But it‘s clean and maintenance (bar the safe) seems to be good: other hotels this age are in worse shape. The elevator situation mentioned in other posts didn‘t bother us (it seems like we hit days of low occupancy) and we took the (small) staircase during shabbes anyway. The hotel announced new elevators in the lobby to be coming. We didn‘t eat at the hotel, so cannot comment on that. We did turn on the A/C briefly, but didn‘t like the smell and opened the window instead.

The first thing AC was not working, the service in the reception was horrible highly not recommend even that the price is cheap for Jerusalem hotels but it's not worth it . Another thing in the reservation we have told that we're getting room wait view to the pool and instead we got view to a parking lot. Btw look on the window pic they're so dirty.

Nice room, nice lounge, good breakfast. Was confused at first by the "Rimonim". Seems to just be called Shalom Hotel Jerusalem. Big red sign on top just says "Shalom." Decent for the price. We had no complaints.

I stayed in my own for bed and breakfast. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a fridge and kettle. There was a sofa and coffee table and additional chair. I appreciated the very generous breakfast.

The location was good for us by Yad Vashem on a day we needed to film there so we chose this Hotel. The rooms where basic and clean. The elevators where under renovation, the breakfast was as basic as they come. Good hotel if you need a bed for the night in this area of Jerusalem.

This is a good basic hotel that gives value to travelers on a budget. The tour operator booked this location for us. The buffet food offered a variety of meals. The rooms were clean although a bit dated. Distance from old town makes it less desirable. Staff was kind and attentive.

Hotel is a bit tired and in need of an update but rooms were a good size with great views over Jerusalem. There is work already taking place on the lifts which will make a difference in the waiting times when it's busy. We were late back from our tour each day so as it was a bit far out of the city to walk out at night, we ordered room service - all freshly prepared and really good. Huge choice at breakfast and nice pool area. Good bar area and the the staff were very friendly.

Our room was quite average but not really a great place to spend four nights in while being on tour. Taking an elevator was quite a challenge for us as it was incredibly slow...especially one of them on Shabbat (Saturday). We were also located quite far out from all of the major sites and the traffic was crazy! Restaurants around this area were few and far between, although you could walk to a small strip mall about 10 to 15 minutes away that had a couple of fast food places. Not too sure that I would want walk to the strip mall at night. The hotel pool was quite large but only had a lifeguard scheduled from 9 am until 5 pm everyday which made it difficult to enjoy a swim when we got back from any one of our tours. The breakfast buffet was actually quite decent with lots of choices, although the dinner buffet that we paid for was much more limited in its offerings. All in all, I would suggest staying at a different hotel if you are on tour and have to spend several nights in one hotel.
