Centrally located in Florentin with easy walking distance to beach, Jaffa or Neve Tzedek. Very friendly staff, comfy beds and, important to me, quiet rooms. Breakfast coucher for Café on ground floor. Supermarkets and other shops close by. Great value for being in Tel Aviv. We'll be back soon.
A great find. Family of 3. 1. Clean comfortable room. Delicious bed. Beautiful bathroom. Minimalist, fun decor. 2. Staff was wonderful. Louis at the desk was so friendly and helpful. 3. Excellent location. Lively neighborhood. Close to beach. A little noisy at night thanks to the nightlife. A pleasant surprise!
My family of five booked two rooms at the Florentin House and we had an excellent stay. The rooms were clean, the neighborhood exciting, and importantly, the staff was very helpful and responsive to all of our needs and questions. The breakfast option was at a restaurant next door was was a nice treat for a moderately priced stay. Highly recommended!
First of all, location. If you are jet-lagged at 2 in the morning, all you have to do is go downstairs; everything is hopping a few steps away: makoliot (grocery stores) , restaurants, bars. the rooms are clean, a little spartan, but the bed is good. The decor is post industrial. Better yet, the rooms have balconies onto classic fading Tel Aviv, very funky. The place is clean and there is almost always sonmebody at the desk, but this is not touristy "trying to be chic but cheesy." This place is reallty a hipster retreat.
I stayed in a triple with friends so I can't speak to the dorm experience, but the staff was friendly and helpful, there was a lounge with free coffee (along with microwave, fridge, etc.), the free breakfast was great. The room had coffee, which was replenished each day.
We had a Great stay at Florentin House - we had a clean room with balcony, friendly staff, good breakfast and all right in the center of The Florentin neighborhood of Tel Aviv, Israel . We Definitely recommend this place. A great stay here. !!!
Great place, very good location, friendly staff, good breakfast, nice bed, great shower, everything was very clean. The room could have used more sunlight, but setting that aside, everything was perfect.
We are a family of 5 that came for one night, stayed in a room of 8 (4 bunk beds) with a porch. The room was spacious and clean, the location of the hostel great and the staff friendly and helpful (including in all the times I called ahead of time with questions). Prices for lodging are expensive in Israel, including hostels, but this was one of the more reasonably priced and worth the money. The only thing that bothered me is that there was no way to pay extra and have a late checkout - we needed to leave at 17:00 and were willing to pay extra for a late checkout but that was not an option. The staff did try to offer all kinds of solutions which was nice.
Stayed for 4 nights from June 1-June 5 as a solo female traveller. The location was amazing and super hip with lots of bars/restaurants in the area. It could get a bit loud in the evenings but that was to be expected, as long as you bring some earplugs you will be fine. 10-15 mins walk to the beach and Old Jaffa which was amazing. The staff were literally amazing and so friendly and helpful with recommendations in the area and directions etc. The breakfast was super yummy as well, and the restaurant was also open for dinner however I did not go. Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone staying in Tel Aviv!
Pleasant small hostel in a lively environment, the hottest young neighbourhood of south TLV. Super friendly staff. Expect some noise from the street and the live bands in the bar, or ask for a room high up (Third floor) ad at the back.
