We had a fantastic stay, from the personal service from Alex, to the rich breakfast and the superb pool. The best hotel in Israel, both in term of service and in terms of location and proximity to Jaffa's trendy flea market and it's restaurants, to Neve Tzedek and the beach. Highly recommended!
This was the second time we had stayed at the hotel this year and once again the service was excellent. On our previous visit in winter we were not able to enjoy the outside areas but combined with the excellent service this added to our enjoyment and any issue was dealt with efficiently Elizabeth the concierge assisted us on both stays and merits special mention We look forward to returning
I will never recommend this hotel to anybody! We had such a horrible experience at a so-called luxury hotel. My husband and I wanted to celebrate his birthday at the spa so I booked him a day with enjoying the facilities including the pool and spa treatments for the both of us. Over the phone the lady was very helpful but upon arrival everything went South. We pull up to the hotel with our car to be told that there is no parking for people that are coming to enjoy the hotel for the day plus they have a very limited parking for a hotel guess also so not every hotel guest gets to park at the hotel. I don’t understand how a luxury hotel does not inform hotel guests beforehands that they’re not going to be able to park or not give them in an option to at least the valet car and the most crowded area in Tel Aviv. We had to go looking for parking which took us around 25 minutes and then had to walk in 40° heat to the hotel. Arriving to the hotel exhausted we head down to the spa. The lady at the checking guess was absolutely horrendous! I never met someone that works in customer service be so rude! She started still giving me other prices than I was given over the phone telling me that amenities weren’t included and started arguing with me and making me feel stupid on even coming there! All I wanted was to have a fun day with my husband for his birthday ! Needless to say Oscar having this horrible experience we decided to give up our day at the spa and ended up going to a different hotel which was the best decision we made that day! When you hold yourself to such a high standard to call yourself a luxury chain/a luxury hotel you need to first of all make sure your customers are happy and secondly know to resolve issues when you have them not causing more problems! Luckily enough there are very large amounts of nice hotels in Tel Aviv to enjoy a day at the spa without having to go through this horrible experience !…
Extremely Bad Spa Experience I was visiting with my wife from Los Angeles We close had of time spa day for my birthday We ask for a spa with breakfast They told us we can only do spa and facilities we said ok when we arrive to enjoy the sun and stay in the pool They told us we need to pay extra 300nis to get inside They were super rude and not friendly We try to explain them that we ask to use the pool and also to include breakfast They also didn’t let us use the parking because we only using the spa Eventually they try to charge us 500nis extra Didn’t feel like a luxury hotel or experience We had to leave and go to different hotel (Carlton Tel Aviv highly recommended) Very bad experience don’t go there They will try to hassle you for more money
From the time we arrived at the hotel ,to the time we left , we were treated as if we were the only guests staying , a faultless ,comfortable, polite experience. The general areas were spotlessly clean,
Beautiful building, location. Cannot be better. But the price you pay is not in balance with the quality/service you get : friendliness of staff is different pending wearing a t-shirt arriving from a long flight vs in a suit going to work, quality of room and furniture (holes in the sheets of the bed), variability in cleaning of room, no one picks up telephone while dialling out of the room for service (went down and people were chatting at reception). This is a high price level so please get your act together to play in that league,
Great location near to the Old Port and in Jaffa, and adjacent to to sea front. A great 3 nights. Mediterranee bar was out of action with water jet cleaning followed by sanding - which was a shame but didn’t spoil the opportunity of enjoying the pool with great views of Tel Aviv.
We arrive to the hotel in the middle of the week, the staff was very helpful and friendly during check-in. The room is bigger than what I would expect, very clean and comfortable . We used the SPA which was great and also the pool looks great (was a bit cold to get into the water). Breakfast is huge with so many options you will need a few days to taste all. A place I will return too.
Fabulous modern, boutique hotel. Loved my room with an ocean view. Used the spa and the fitness facilities. Amazing over the top breakfast. First class service from everyone that worked at the Setai. Also enjoy walks along the walkway with an active beach and ocean with surfing and other water activities. I highly recommend the Setai Tel Aviv!
Bar review only. Nothing special. “Handcrafted cocktails” involved bartender reading off card how to make Manhattan and Old Fashioned. And then making them incorrectly. No garnish in drink. Expensive at that and used well liquors. Go elsewhere.
