I had a very negative experience with Lighhouse hotel. First of all, when we arrived, our suite was placed next to a laundry. Staff used it regularly and when they’d forget to fully lock the door, it would sound a fire alarm. That was not the best experience coming after a long flight from the US. The hotel itself was very dirty. The rooms were ok. But the halls were not cleaned. And they kept the lights in the halls so dark so you couldn’t see it. But it made it a very frightening place for our daughter. Also, wasn’t pleasant to find one of those huge Israeli cockroaches in our bathroom in the morning. They offered free drinks and snacks in the afternoon, which I guess was also part of the strategy to not have guests notice how run-down the place was. We decided to leave. And cut our stay from about a week to three days. We spoke about it to the manager and she changed our reservation promising that a refund would be forthcoming. And this is where the problems started. The refund never came. Calling staff has been completely useless. They take your phone number and never get back to you. They say they’ve escalated with no results. Basically, Lighthouse is a fraud. With the fact that they won’t honor their commitment and provide a refund for the days that weren’t used is beyond the worst experience I’ve ever had. I would never recommend that anyone stay at the hotel and by extension at any of the Brown hotels.…
My sister, my cousin and myself stayed tonight at Lighthouse brown hotel. First, few minutes after I booked the reservation, I received a phone call from the hotel representative asking if we are celebrating an event and if we have any specific requirements, which was impressive. When we arrived, all the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was nice and super clean. And the highlight was the magnificent breakfast at the hotel. No doubt we will return to the Lighthouse hotel
The staff was unhelpful. We always had to call the reception multiple people times to get anything sent to the room. We have the room with a jacuzzi. The porch door was way too heavy. The gym looked disgusting. The bathroom door was broken. The lighting in the room was terrible, it was always way too dark and the porch does not allow sunlight in. On the plus, The breakfast was great! , the view from our terrible was very picturesque All in all, the hotel is not worth its price. And the hotel workers did not seem to care for any of our complaints.
Just to say this hotel is a real 5 stars Hotel All the people who work in ,are marvelous!!! We recommend it strongly It was our first reservation in this hotel. And we are sure we will comeback soon Alone or with your family you have to go there!
The hotel is part of old building, the rooms are renovated but everywhere arround you feel the age. The rooms are small then expected. There is no parking at hotel and you need to pay extra 30$ for city parking each time you move the car. There better hotels with parking in Tel-Aviv
Very good location for this newer hotel in Tel Aviv. Works fine if you are in the millennial set but not older. Glitzy hotel with fancy music in lobby and avant-garde decor; LCD screen displaying electronic mirages on the ceiling of the elevator. They tried hard with plentiful refreshments, desserts, champagne, and spiked punch in the lobby, and cakes in the room. And the view of the sea was quite good. But the front desk spent too much time introverted into their iPads to pay attention to customers who simply wanted to check in, and it took almost 30 minutes to check in. The elevators were fast but the parking lot, while next door, was a challenge to drive to around multiple one-way streets. The price was reasonable for Tel Aviv but the hotel was quite different from how it appeared on line, Don't stay there unless you are less than 30 years of age.…
Staff does not listen and is rude Reception Manager Naoumi pulls an employee out of a conversation with guests on his shirt without saying a word. Unbelievable. Receptionist asks same question 3 times. Does not listen to answers. Bellboy does not find luggage. Returns after 3 minutes, asks guests to follow him and pick luggage themselves. Cleaner with a pile of toilet paper rolls squeezes himself into the bath room pushing guest aside Hotel is very loud. Music everywhere. Renovation works are going on in the front of the building. Rooms are good, bathroom very small Breakfast buffet is very good They offer a free sweets and fruit buffet in the lobby during checkin time We paid 400$ a night for a standard double and found this a lot for an unprofessionally run hotel.
We were at Lighthouse first in the loby we had a long wait for the room than when we arrive to the room we realize there is no light in the bathroom, the bedroom was also dark with only 2 lights , so i guess it should be called darkhouse.. When we told them they said its the "style" of the hotel Later in the breakfast the waiter did not give us any menu and did not tell us we should get served dishes in addition to the bouffe . There was no phone in the room and no service what so ever. Also after the stay when we alerted them they even did not reply or answer us back. I would never visit there.
What a special hotel. Perfect location to the beach but also disengoff and Rothschild which are the two main areas for bars/ resteraunts / clubs. Lovely rooms, helpful staff, and a good breakfast selection on the pretty 5th floor terrace. Now on to Avi, one of the hotels managers. He couldn’t do enough for us!! From helping us change rooms, booking cabs, sorting out our jeruselum trip, and just generally providing us with a great service 24/7 whenever we needed. He’s the star of this place. We will stay again and Avi has been a big part of that!
We keep coming to this hotel over and over again! It is situated in a central place in Tel Aviv, 5 min from the beach. The rooms are a bit small and dark, but are comfortable. Breakfast is amazing and the terrace is fantastic. Well recommended!!
