Just came back from the perfect hotel in Tel Aviv. The location is the best and the view is excellent. The service was beyond exceptional, from the reception staff to the management that took care to make every need. The room service staff was great as well. Especially Alex from the pool staff who was amazing and made sure we had cold water, set up our pool beds right away and that we were comfortable. The breakfast and Friday dinner was very tasty and had a lot of verity. The food at the lobby and the service was also great . We highly recommend this hotel and We will come back for sure!
Hotel during the COVID-19 requires several adjustment, primarily to keep the guests safe, and secondary to comply with the health regulations . The hotel failed in a severe way. 1. Rooms – the rooms should follow strict cleaning protocol . Our room had residual food in the refrigerator!! Only to show the lack of proper cleaning procedure and oversight. 2. Elevators. The elevators are small and thus by regulation- there is a requirement for facemasks. There was no supervision by the staff and there hourly confrontation , on verge of violence ,between the guests. The manger was informed but did nothing. 3. The roof top pool was crowded with no distancing and no supervision . 4. Over all the room, the service and the atmosphere of the hotel was totally different from the “boutique” style that was part of its marketing claims. It is just a 3-4 star mediocre chain hotel , dangerouse during theses period.…
We stayed for one day over Shabbat and had the best time. The location and views are the best in Tel Aviv, hotel is modern and clean and food is very good. What really makes this hotel special are the staff. Every singe one of them were friendly and professional with a special note for Dudi at the pool who is running around non-stop to take care of his guests every need and Chana who runs breakfast and treats her staff and guests as if they were in her own home. We will be back.
My wife and I stayed Tel Aviv at The Carlton for three days in March and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The location, accommodations, staff, service, and food are all excellent. Prior to our stay, Gila Mualem helped us with our reservation and transportation. She recommended the airport VIP service and transportation by the hotel luxury car. This was a great recommendation. I suggest everyone uses this service-it’s money well spent. We were met at the gate and quickly taken through security and baggage claim. Our car was waiting as we exited the airport. Our driver was very friendly, informative, and efficient. The hotel is right on the Mediterranean and near the city center. Only a few blocks from Ben Yehuda, Dizengoff Street, and an easy walk to Ha Carmel Market. We were able to walk everywhere. No need for a cab. Our room had a view of the boat harbor, beach, and beautiful sunsets. The nicely furnished, clean, and had very nice amenities, especially the bath products. The bathroom had a large soaking tub. The fresh apples and candies were a nice touch. The first night we had cocktails and appetizers in the lobby bar and dinner at Lumina. Our dinner was one of the best we had during our two weeks stay in Israel. The fish and chicken entrees were excellent, but the appetizer was one of the best things I’ve eaten. We ordered Kaunas, a traditional Yemeni bread alongside tomato salsa and chili chili, confit garlic and paprika aioli. The server was very friendly and efficient. After a long trip and being awake for almost 24 hours, our dinner at Lumina was a nice way to end our first day in Israel. Every morning we ate breakfast at Lumina. The food was served buffet style and excellent. There was so much to choose from-fresh vegetables, fish, eggs, bread, pastries, and really good coffee. Also, a great view of the Mediterranean. I was impressed with by Gila visiting our table to make sure everything had met our expectations. Reuben, the concierge, is the nicest man and gave us good recommendations. He suggested we walk to the Ha Carmel Market. He gave us map and good directions. The market was very interesting and fun The Carlton exceeded our expectations in every way. Gila, Reuben, and the other staff made our stay special. If I return to Israel, my first stay will be at The Carlton. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Tel Aviv.…
Excellent stay, very comfortable. The staff especially Sheldon at reception were impeccable. The follow up communications were great. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of cheeses. The pool deck was fantastic
