Detailed Reviews
All the previous reviews are exactly correct. The hotel tried. The rooms are small, but very clean. The bathroom was so small but there wasn't a full shower door, so when you took a shower it washed the bathroom floor at the same time. The breakfast offerings were decent, but the coffee machine must have been cleaned years ago because there was green slim coming from the machine into my cup. I decided that I had enough and checked out.

The hotel has a nice location by the beach. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the room was comfortable. The shower door is so small/short that all the water gets all over the bathroom floor and the biggest problem with the room was the fact that it was booked for two acquaintances but the beds are put together as a single bed so there's no privacy/separation.

This seems to be an older hotel that has not invested back into the property in several years. Halls and rooms have several stains all over the carpet. Furnishings are cheap and poorly maintained. Cleanliness barely passes for acceptable.
On the positive side, the location is close to the beach with several eating options nearby.

Stayed at this hotel on an organised tour, the room was nice and clean.
Found the bar was not operating and appeared abandoned
Attended the dining room with a group of 24 others, asked to sit together but was told by the female who appeared to be running the restaurant that large tables were only for groups and we must sit at tables of 4. Attempted to order a drink and book it to our room and was told credit card only, which we didn't have on us at dinner. The female who was in attendance looked at us with what appeared to be contempt, she was disinterested and just frowned. One of our group asked for additional table water and she scowled and rolled her eyes. The following day upon checking out we asked another unfriendly and disinterested reception female to book us a metered taxi. We asked twice it must be metered, she agreed and texted someone and told us to wait 15 mins, upon asking her how much she said approximately 80 sheckles. The taxi arrived and refused to turn on the meter stating it was 80 sheckles, we got out and walked to another taxi. The metered fare was 40 sheckles. Not a nice feeling when your hotel staff are in on the scam. Hotel room was adequate, you need to find friendly honest and interested staff.

+1
This hotel hadn’t been properly reviewed for some time and I hesitated booking it but for the price was pleasantly surprised. We were there for pesach.
Breakfast/ I have included pics .. usual Israeli salads.. usual fishes . Matza and pesach break rolls. An. Eggs station for omelettes etc. See pics.
Friday night dinner for 200 shekels. I am sure not as good as the Dan panorama but they charge 400 shekels so for the price I was very happy.
The rooms we had the 12 floor all redone . Neat, nice size and nicely decorated.
Can’t comment on other floors.
Swimming pool on the roof. Decent not huge but sufficient.
Staff Yossi and Dan at reception very helpful.
Facilities beyond pool non existent. Would be great to offer a small gym and possibly maybe a small coffee shop would be nice . As they don’t offer lunch and also no room service so beyond dinner and breakfast you are left with “wolt” and they check that the food is kosher so be mindful.
A decent thee star / excellent value/ could do with a small gym and a small bar/ coffee shop in reception. Also a coat of paint on the outside would be good- come on guys paint the building! Location excellent opposite independent park / Gordon beach.

This hotel is perfect for bus tours. A cheap semi-rundown hotel that piles them in and a bargain price. The hotel is visibly falling apart in multiple locations. The free wifi isn't strong enough to capture and keep the signal and the staff are just rude when you ask them questions.

Pros
hotel in a great location a block or so from the brach
* room clean and newly renovated
*
* Bathroom clean with soups and shampoos
* breakfast OK. Omelet bar (first morning omelet guy disappeared and didn't come back until I was finished eating)
* bed comfortable as were pillows
* ac worked well
Cons
* Coffee bad
* cleaning lady gently knocked on my door at 7:40am and when I didn't answer opened the door. I watched her walk into another room on my floor before 8am and apologize to the shocked person in the room. She knocked on several other doors at before 8am
* loud youth group on my floor having a hallway party until 10:30p.m
* TV has very few channels
* carpeted rooms which I personally think is disgusting

The last time we stayed here was 4 years ago. We liked it so much then that we scheduled a return stay. (Covid had kept us away) Staff is very eager to please. Most of their guests are part of Group Tours. Breakfast time is always a treat; not only the extensive buffet but the parade of people from all corners of the world makes for wonderful people watching. Fortunately for us, its across the street from a beautiful park, the beach, the port and only a six minute walk from family. I look forward to going back!

Check out the photographs on the website of the Grand Beach Hotel. The rooms are exactly as pictured on the website. They are not spacious, but they are thoughtfully designed for a comfortable stay. There is a clothesline over the bathtub for hanging wet swimsuits, a mini fridge for cold drinks and a kettle for hot drinks. We also appreciated that the check-out at 12:00 o'clock gave us plenty of time to, once again, enjoy the rooftop swimming pool before leaving the hotel.

We stayed here for four nights recently although it seems that this hotel is used mainly for groups who stay for one or two nights only.
Very convenient for restaurants and shops in the rejuvenated old north port of Tel Aviv, and of course, the beaches.
It is relatively comfortable, and clean but hardly luxurious - the public areas could do with redecorating and updating.
There is a useful large lobby area that obviously at one point had a bar. Sadly that is no more. This is something the hotel could really benefit from as people met up in that area, but it has absolutely no atmosphere or character.
The pool did not seem to be available for guests.
