We arrived earlier and our room was ready for us. We booked a double bed room suite- which is a great option for a family that have kids above 12. The suite was spacious, very clean, it has great facilities such as a kitchenette, Espresso coffee machine and large fridge . The living room was huge, with a big television and comfortable sofa. The bedrooms are clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable as well. The hotel is located by the beach and a very short walk to Tel Aviv bay. The breakfast was delicious, offered variety of food. The staff were warm and kind! And it had a parking!!! Thank you we will definitely comeback!

My first impression of the hotel was not great. We arrived late in the evening and no one came out to help us and you cannot stop the car in front without blocking they street as they had the drop off area blocked with metal poles. Finding parking there late a night is tough, so we were exhausted and hassled.

Fortunately, everything after check in was great!!! The rooms are amazing. We stayed in the Executive suite, which was really reasonably priced and has a great layout. The furnishings are cool and modern and we could see the sea. I wish I had known that there are rooms with balconies, but I was really happy with everything nonetheless.

The location is incredible, and they keep towels in the lobby if you want to go over to the beach. there are great places to eat within 2 minutes walk, and you are one block over from the board walk.

The staff leaves lovely snacks in the room and the kitchen, if you need it, is large and very usable. Great expresso machine and lots of pods for morning coffee.

Overall really great... for sure it is my new go-to hotel in Tel Aviv.

We just spent a wonderful 8 nights at the Hotel. First, the location is perfect, as it is directly next to the Tel Aviv Port and you can access all of the restaurants there. It is also just a couple of blocks to Dizengoff and Ben Yehuda streets, where the shopping and dining are plentiful. The hotel rooms are EXTREMELY spacious, housekeeping is excellent and the staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There is a beautiful (if not inexpensive) place to eat breakfast on the 7th floor which is an indoor/outdoor open air location overlooking the ocean. The hotel is also much less expensive than some of the larger hotels and is just off the main Hayarkon street and is a bit quieter. We will definitely stay here again.

This is my third stay at The Alexander in a year and I’ve already booked my stay for the summer where I plan to bring my family. I stayed in the executive 1 bedroom. The room is spacious and clean. My room is like an apartment with a living room, kitchen (no stove but there is a microwave) bathroom and separate bedroom. Staff is helpful, friendly & quick. There is no pool but you are on the beach which is glorious! Breakfast is served on the rooftop- the food is plentiful & delicious with a view of Tel Aviv and the ocean.

We are grandparents who brought our 9 yr old granddaughter to Israel for the first time. This hotel had everything we could want. Warm, friendly staff who engaged our granddaughter and provided her with ‘treats.’ For that age it made a huge difference. Best of all, it was a VERY spacious room cleverly laid out so the beds were not near each other, we had privacy and lots of room. A Light, clean, airy space. So surprising as it was right on the beach, right near the port. Easy parking too. We had booked with breakfast by accident and when we couldn’t use it they discounted it from the bill right away. Friendly, helpful and a lovely room. We weren’t there on Shabbat but one of the elevators is a Shabbat elevator. We’d come back for sure.

I stayed there 7 days and my son stayed in another room for 5 days. On the plus side, the breakfast is wonderful, as is the view from the roof. The breakfast staff are amazing. A minor negative is the hotel is showing its age, for example, the area rugs in the rooms are very dirty.
The issue is management has a "it's not a problem" attitude, meaning it's not a problem for them, regardless of the impact on me. A man walked into my room late one evening without knocking or identifying himself, saw me and walked out. Management said "it's not a problem" because it was just maintenance walking into the wrong room. There was a leak from the walls onto the bathroom floor and although the leak was extensive, management said "it was not a problem" because they could send up towels so I could mop up the water. The next day, my last day there, the source of the problem became apparent as water poured through the ceiling into the bathroom. Management said it "was not a problem" because I could move to another room. The move was a serious inconvenience and source of stress; the move badly disrupted my plans and preparations for leaving, and I left behind some items in my haste to move to another room. Despite this, management would not adjust my bill or apologize in any way for the inconvenience. I spent almost $5,000 there and was treated as an inconvenience and bother when there was a malfunction or error on their part.
There are many beautiful hotels along the beach in Tel Aviv. Stay in one of those where management may have more respect and appreciation for their guests.

Beautiful hotel near one of the best beaches in Tel Aviv next to the famous Tel Aviv Harbour. The rooms are nicely decorated, very large with all the amenities needed.
The spoiling breakfast is served on the top floor with a great breeze and sea view.
Highly recommended and very good value for money.

We were 2 large families - took 2 suites at the 7th floor.
The rooms were clean and full of goodies.
Service was fast and polite.
Even the parking was simple and close to the hotel.
The location was perfect - right on the beach near to multiple beach side attraction - only 7 minutes walk to Tel Aviv port with all the restaurants and attractions.
Breakfast was good and the 7th floor balcony was really nice.

Stayed in Alexander for 2 nights for a business event with some free time to spare.

The pros:
Great location, right next to the beach and TA port (shopping area).
Friendly staff, always trying to help.
Modern and chic design.
I stayed in a suite - it was roomy and had all the facilities we needed, and was clean (maybe the ample closet space could do with an extra wipe, but otherwise seemed very clean).
Good AC and fast WiFi.
The massage at the spa was really good too :)

The cons:
The drapes in our room had some holes in them, which let in the morning light... Kind of counters the idea of drapes.
The mattress wasn't for me... It was way too soft and "sunken".
At the time of my stay, both the hotel and the building next to it were undergoing some renovation, so while I was getting a massage I could hear drilling and banging sounds, probably associated with the construction of more spa facilities. Future guests will enjoy that, but for me it was a bit... meh. Also the construction sounds next door started before 7 a.m., which is both illegal and highly inconsiderate. I know that it's not entirely under the hotel management's control what happens at their neighbors', but you as a guest should take that under advisement when booking around July 2021.

The hotel is straight at the beach and close to the Old Port in with lots of cafes and restaurants. The Disengoff street is in a walk distance, which is a great advantage.
The hotel itself quite old and shabby. The TV screens didn’t work, the fridge door was broken, the shower didn’t work properly. Bur the rooms are big with quite comfortable beds.
The cleaning services are awful: no vacuuming, no taking trash out. You will be lucky to get fresh towels and have your bedsheets changed.
The reception staff is absolutely unhelpful. Young men at the reception desk are completely unfriendly, never ready to help, rude, uncooperative, incompetent and tough. Especially a certain Andrey. His reaction to my remarks about no cleaning in my room till 7pm was shocking. He was rude, stubborn, tried to put the blame on me instead of react to my request immediately. When I personally came downstairs to sort everything out, his colleague crossed the line and just asked me to shut up!!!!!
The hotel itself is not so bad, but the staff is just awful.
I wouldn’t recommend the hotel to those who is not ok with rude and unfriendly attitude.
