At first I was skeptical as I entered the sea net hotel, but once I saw the caring staff and the spacious rooms I felt right at home. The rooms had space for me, my friends, and all our luggage. The bathrooms were sanitary and convenient due to the fact that you can reach all the bathrooms amenities all from the comfort of the toilet. More than that, the sea net has beautiful views of the most “authentic” parts of Tel Aviv. To top that all off they serve a ”memorable” breakfast and dinner with many delicious options to choose from. Overall best hotel of my life and would highly recommend for anyone with a desire to have a bad time
At first glance, the sea net hotel in Tel Aviv looked great. The lobby is clean, it has a dining room, conference room, and ~65 rooms. However, with a closer look, there is chipping paint, an unwelcoming staff, and an elevator that works 50% of the time. Once we arrived in the room, we instantly noticed the smell. The curtains, beds, sheets, carpet, and entire room smelled of smoke. When we approached the staff to help irrigate the smell, they gave us the “cleaning spray” and told us to do it ourselves. This “cleaning spray” smelled even worse than the smoke smell. Speaking of the sheets, on my 4th night I found a used band aid in the bed, and my friends found feces and blood stains. The housekeeping in the sea net hotel needs work, and that is a fact. There was even mold growing on the walls and the keycards to the rooms stopped working. We were even locked out to the bathroom and we’re told to fix it ourselves. The inside of the elevator was clean only every other day and only worked sometimes. While in the elevator we decided to visit the other floors to see if they were as bad as ours, when we reached floor 5, we found that it was completely unfinished, the walls are not up, wires are everywhere, machinery is everywhere, and mattresses were covering the floor. The roof wasn’t much better. On the roof, there is an entire shed filled with mattresses and chairs. There is also an abandoned bar and the leftovers of a bar/ restaurant. We even found some alcohol in a drawer. Finally, the food. The breakfast eggs were watery, and “melted our insides with each bite”. The rest got eh breakfast food was dry and looked like it was made by 5 year olds and not professional chefs. The best part was the toast. The dinner was constantly a mystery meat and when we asked what it was, we were declined an answer. The rice that accompanied the meat didn’t taste real. Overall, the Sea Net hotel is a sad replacement for what it once seemed to be. It seems like it could become its former self again with lots of work. The management team needs to step it up and take a role in bringing this hotel back. The one saving grace of the Sea Net hotel is its close proximity to the beach and the beautiful sunset and sunrise views from the roof.…
This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. The rooms were absolutely filthy. The mattresses were awful. The bathrooms were dirty. Somehow I left every day feeling dirtier. The towels had stains on them. You couldn’t pay me to stay there again.
Stayed here for 1 night and the only Positive thing was its proximity to the beach. The room was small and dated, with very basic amenities. Breakfast spread as well as staff services were average. There are definitely better hotels to choose from.
Was booked on this hotel through tour company. Nothing good to report. The place would be run better by a staff who cares. They do not. Air conditioning kept breaking down. Reception was unresponsive. Tour companies should not recommend this until they improve service.
We stayed here because of a G-Adventures trip, and had foolishly booked an additional night beforehand here too, which cost a tidy sum, and certainly wasn't worth it. The room was tiny, with no space to walk around the beds even. To dry yourself off, you had to stand in the entrance at the door inside the room, as there was no space inside the bathroom. The shower is over the bath, which made it very difficult and dangerous for my elderly mother to have to climb over and into. It's close to the beach, yes, but so are Geula suites, for example. At a much better price and much better facilities. The Sea Net breakfast also leaves much to be desired, I would try to stay elsewhere if at all possible. At reception they charge a shameful 10 shekels for a 500 ml bottle of water!
This hotel is way below standards! The sheets in the bed were dirty, the towels were barely folded and raggedy. The beds were hard and the furniture dated. The bathroom was tiny and the shower would clog. Everyone I encountered at the front desk was unwilling to help, lazy just checking their cellphone. When I went to ask for something I could tell she was talking about me with the coworker in their language upset that I had disrupted their lazy time. Only positive thing about this property is the location.
This hotel was OK. It was clean and the breakfast was good but the location is what makes it, you are literally 2 blocks away from the beach and boardwalk of Tel Aviv. The staff was nice and friendly but the rooms seemed like it was missing something (maybe the decor was a bit dated).
Please stay away from this hotel as the experience here is going to ruin your holiday. The only good thing about this hotel is the location but food , room , staff and everything else is horrible. For dinner they serve 1 meat with baked potato and boiled beans with some salads. Rooms are tiny with no Fridge , carpet is old and Bathroom is filthy. Staff is rude and aggressive and are not very helpful.
Near the beach which is fine. The rooms are OK but dinner is very poor, just one type of food( meat and potatoes) and one type of fruit. The restaurant staff is nice but the man in the reception not very. I wouldn't choose it again
