We booked this hotel last minute because another booking fell through last minute. Took nearly an hour to get to our room. Room had no views, just walls outside the window. There was no way of getting fresh air in. Room was OK in size and clean. Best thing was breakfast!

I went for umrah with 2 kids (8-11 yo). The hotel is the closest to al haram mosque and it has a prayer hall (it is convenient as the mosque's gates are closed one hour b4 the prayer, so this prayer hall could accommodate guests with disability). Breakfast was nice, housekeeping is quick and it has nice view of kaaba... More

The hotel is the nearest to haram which is an advantage. the rooms are very spacious and nice. But. The room service is pathetic. They dont understand english at all. The wifi is useless and pathetic. Anyone coming to makkah for Umrah shud only opt for this hotel for its cheap price and proximity. Otherwise its a pure waste of... More

Worst ever hotel - rating themselves 5*, absolute and utter nonsense. The room was like a dungeon with only one exit, the window does not even open. How can they pass this hotel for Health and safety without a fire exit in the room. Upon explaining (they hardly speak English) and asking if there is fire how would you escape,... More

I am still in this hotel with my family. Came for umrah. Hotel is next to Haram. Check in was not very good because on reception no one can speak English. I have been to mekkah many times before in different hotels. So have to say that there are two staff members who are excellent. Irshad front desk manager and... More

I stayed at here for 4 nights. The hotel was in al safwah towers so make sure you're use a right lift because in this towers they have 3 different hotels. A great location so far, because this hotel takes only few steps to abdul aziz gate. The room a quite large and bath room was good. Meals in the... More

Going to Mecca in spring is wonderful - mind you I have performed umrah in many conditions and no matter what time of the year, what state your in, be it fasting or not, performing umrah is amazing. This hotel was great for our purposes - very close to the harem and no complicated lift routes to take. I would... More

My family and I stayed there and yes, it was excellent. You can see the Kaabah from your hotel room and the rates are somewhat affordable for that sort of location. One thing though, you will have the same menu at the cafe everyday.

I have been to other hotels at Zamzam, but i was not that impressed with the Hotel. My main concern was the rooms that do not have any kind of view, its blocked and as a person who gets depressed from dull rooms, it was very annoying to me. It was not the right thing for them to plan it... More
