Maybe I got lucky but my bed was nice and firm. The location is also very good because it was a 15 minutes or less walk to the masjid. The food was good and reception staff was friendly. The hotel needs to be refurbished and cleanliness needs to improve. I was there for a very short stay only so it...

I stayed in this hotel with my family for 3 nights during my recent Umrah trip. As mentioned by other reviewers as well, this place definitely needs major renovations and upgrade. The hotel is situated on the slope of a hill and so, if you enter from one side you are at the reception, but if you enter from the...

Booked this hotel as part of an umrah package via agency for 2 double rooms. (2single beds) Overall experience was good and convenient especially since its 10-15 minute walk away from haram. Its far from luxury and cleaning standards are very low. But it does the job if you are to spend most of your time in haram and just...

The hotel is old and needs renovation as soon as possible. The facilities are primitive and would not stand the high competition in Mecca hotels. The Wi-Fi is terrible. The restaurant is actually a corridor with very limited and modest food quality To add to the problems, the location is not great. It is on a hill, which is hard...

The good - 1. It is close to the mosque 2. The breakfast provided is filling and substantial in quantity 3. It is fairly clean 4. The check in and check out are quick and no hassles if you book properly. 5. They arrange for taxis to Jeddah airport if requested. - just ask the bell boys. It is SAR...

After coming from the Hayatt in Madinah, also a four star, I am really not impressed by the Elaf Ajyad. The room is tiny, yet there are four beds squashed into it for just the two of us. The bathroom has a constant burnt smell, and the shower curtain may as well not be there. Seriously, I'm on the verge...

We stayed for 7 nights, the rooms were tight for two persons, breakfast did not change over the 7 days, the hotel on the top of a hill but shuttles are 24x7. Rooms were not clean, room service were nagging us at strange times but due to exhausted efforts during Umra, we had t

Stayed at this hotel for a day on 23rd night of Ramadan which is generally very crowded in Makkah, the location is nice although on top of a steep hill but they have shuttle service to take you down the street and back up. We did not use shuttle service and used this opportunity to exercise. We didn't have a...
