I consider this hotel as 2.5 star in terms of services. I also feels that the price is too high for 3 nights stay in order to perform Umrah. The hotel is very close to God house (Ka'abah) and other shopping malls which is positive. The hotel staff are not helpful at all. The room service is totally poor. No...

One of the two Rooms was good with Haram view. Location excellent since it was just across the road to Al-Haram. Service was extremely poor. I had booked my room through Hotels.com but the hotel had no information with the reservation code provided by the website. I had pre-confirmed my reservation with the hotel before stay but when we arrived...

HORRIBLE is one way to summarise our stay at this hotel. Our tour operator had booked us in and we finished Umrah really late so crashed at night. I was already sick when I landed and the hotel room didn't make things better, it was dusty with wallpaper ripped off and stains in the washroom, the tiles were dirty. The...

This Hotel looks great as an image on a catalogue with it's supposed 4 star rating and contemporary lounge area... However do not be fooled, the customer service here is appalling. The rooms are ridiculously tiny and they cramped 5 beds in a twin room! The bathrooms are disgusting with mould and dirt everywhere and a bathtub which a minion...

The check in process took forever and the guys were clueless. They had no idea what they were doing. Rooms have no kettle or tea service. Bathroom was a joke with the pot behind the door and the bath tub behind the sink. Really disappointed with the quality of this place and disregard for quality and service.

Stay for 5 nights in March 2013. Up to Mecca at midnight and immediately preparations for Umrah. On returning to the hotel after the dawn prayer, Subhanallah ... it turns out our room window facing the entrance of Mecca, pilgrims look out, the left can be seen a large clock tower of the hotel Zamzam. The rooms are a little...

This is a very basic hotel below the classification of a “basic” hotel let alone the 4 stars they claim themselves on it. It is in a perfectly prime location very close to the haram with only about a 150m walk to the entrance. We were there during Hajj so understandably very busy. When we checked in to the room,...

The key point of this hotel is its location, which an extremly important aspect while visiting Mecca. The rooms a bit congested and elevators make you wait at prayer time. The wifi in the lobby worked well.

Agree with many of the previous reviews re location. Rooms a bit on the small side in Ramadan when extra beds put in. Good housekeeping staff. Lifts a major bug bear. Long queues at prayer times. Wifi only in the lobby. Can't comment on prices or food as stayed at hotel as part of package with Al Khalid tours from...
