We chose to stay here solely based on price as it's one of the few affordable hotels during the Grand Prix. Based on reviews and cost, our expectations were low. We arrived early in the day, and luckily were able to immediately get a room, although single beds rather than the king we requested. That was acceptable. What was not...

There is no WiFi. Towels are very old turned to brown. The room was not clean dust on the ground and on windows; you can't even look through. House keeping open the door without knocking the door; although there was sign for not disturbing. I paid for my stay while check-in, but when I went the other day for check-out...

After I read a lot of negative reviews on tripadvisor about this hotel, I was wondering wether to book it or not for my 2 night stay in Bahrain. I decided to have a go and risk it. Right from the start I arrived to this hotel, I couldn't believe those reviews were true. First, I was checked-in early (some...

We arrived to find our rooms had been double booked and their excuse was laughable. Manager offered us to stay in 'a friends apartment' that he knew of. Resorted to sleeping on old mattresses in some of the rooms. The breakfast that was included left a lot to be desired. Unpleasant experience all round, will not be returning or recommending.

The loxation is out of the way from pretty much everything. Although there is a billiard hall not too far. Walking into the Carlton reminded me of an old Las Vegas hotel. There was packing tape holding the elevator button and I had to wonder. I think this hotel hit its peak around 1966. On the upside the AC was...

An overnight stay for £32. For the price I was paying I was not expecting much. But when checking in I was upgraded to a suite. The lounge was huge with two sofas, a coffee table, desk and a TV. The bedroom was also large with a very big double bed. The price included wifi (which was not the greatest...
