The Saifi Urban Garden is located right in the center of Beirut, in a nice little colored alley that gives you the impression to leave the chaos of the city and enter a more warm and comfy environment. It has one nice bar at the ground floor with good breakfast and live music sometimes at nights. At the top floor... More

My brother told me about how excellent this place is. After a long trip from Montréal, I experienced that myself. Friendly staff, very comfortable and affordable ! I would strongly recommend this place for your stay in Beirut !

Part hostel, language-school and restaurant, you get a very dynamic setting. Although slightly designed for foreigners, you sense that Urban Gardens is very popular among the locals. And the food? Good, solid meze, plenty and tasty.

Saifi has a lovingly curated space in a happening neighborhood. Incredibly affordable (both to stay and to eat), and a very cool scene. I didn't have time to enroll in their onsite Arabic classes, but spoke with many students hanging out in the cafe and they raved about it. The only thing I wish I had done was allow them... More

Came here for lunch with a friend who is taking an Arabic course with them. We ordered three dishes, a coffee, a juice, and two waters and it was only 12,000LBP each. The portions were great and the garden is a lovely atmosphere to eat in. Shisha is available too. They even have a bunch of turtles just chillin' among... More

Saifi has a really nice cafe and beautiful garden, nice staff and I would have recommended it despite the moldy rooms and dirty, stinky bathrooms. What finally ruined our stay was their horrible driver who agreed to take us to our permanent place (15 min walk from the hostel) and ended up ripping us off, making us pay 5 times... More

My friends and I ran away from Hostel Beirut to this place. Friendly staff, efficient service, clean, beds comfy, safe, and close to nightlife entertainment. Any issues were quickly and professionally addressed. I like how the bunk beds, and cupboards were labelled so when someone checks out, the cleaning staff know what and what not to clear out ;) I... surprised how clean and organized was this place. rooms are air conditioned and with private bathroom. it was easy to book on their website and had a very young and nice admophere. we didn't have enough time to try the restaurant but there are few places like markets and restaurants just by walking distance.

I used Saifi Urban Gardens as a short term place to stay while searching for a more permanent accommodation. I would say it is good for what you pay. The private rooms are spacious with their own shower room. Beds are comfortable and the linen is clean. It would be good if the rooms had a kettle and a small... More

“They are all the same. Either it's a single room or group share. They all seem to be of an average standard. I had no complaints about that part of things. Wifi is terrible and logs out every time your phone sleeps. So get your own local phone with affordable internet. Get an upstairs room as downstairs rooms have no natural light and view of a wall of drinks crates.”
