I stayed for 3 nights at the Mayflower, the staff was very friendly, a special thanks to Hassan and to the guys from Bangladesh, you are amazing!!! The room was very confortable, spacious and with a terrace. The location is just perfect, you can go by walking to the main important touristic places in Beirut. The breakfast was excellent, with...

It’s an average looking hotel, hence its good. Friendly staff, good rooms, good service, they got a valet & a small pool on the roof The best thing about the hotel, is that it’s in the heart of hamra (which is the best area in beirut, from nightlife to shopping to food) Definitely a place to stay at

This hotel, although somewhat worn and battered, serves the purpose of a place to stay that functions satisfactory, and that for a truly acceptable price. It seems to be a favourite for journalists and aid workers from all over the world, and therfore has an atmosphere of internationalism, which is rather pleasant. Not luxury but good value, absolutely !

I've stayed at the Mayflower in July, 2016 for 9 nights. Honestly, at the first sight I didn't find the place attractive because the room looked a bit old. But after I realised it wasn't that bad. Room was very clean with a good mini bar. Bed was very comfortable and room service was very quick. Breakfast was rich as...

I stayed at this hotel for two nights over a weekend in January 2017. I chose it because I got a good deal on the rate. This hotel is located in the Hamra area, which is known for quaint bars and restaurants. The night life in Hamra is certainly lively, which means that this isn't exactly a quiet hotel. That...

Some may say it's tired... I say it's classic and safe. This place won't set the world on fire but it's great location... breakfast included (not bad but not special) clean. Good sized rooms. Bathrooms with bath. Friendly reception with security. They booked me a return taxi to airport for 25 dollars. As a backpacker normally this is luxury for...

I have stayed at the Mayflower Hotel in Beirut for four decades, including once during the Civil War. I like the location, between Hamra and the American University of Beirut. At about $50 U.S. per night, it is good value. The hotel has been updated some over the years and is much better than when I was last here 5...

I have rated Mayflower before during my very first visit to this hotel. I have now stayed at this hotel at least 10 times and therefore choose to rate it again as I belive my experience with so many visits is valuable. This is not a five star hotel, but it is still better than many other hotels. The main...
