We stayed in Nomad Guest House for our first and last night in Maskat and also rented off-road equipment from them. They also arranged the rental car for us and everything went very well. We especially loved the lovely welcome and the familiar atmosphere. Chris and Lorna are really great hosts!

A wonderful place to stay. Felt as if we were staying at home ,though we were there for a short visit. Rose and Lorna were always there for any guidance or advise we needed. Would definitely love to return. You will also meet alot of friendly fellow travelers . Nice friendly place :)

Two houses joined together, very nicely decorated inclooding the roof terrace (in slight renovation during our stay). Rooms are clean, breakfast gorgeous. The only minor downside is that you need to walk stairs up on the roof terrace and then stairs down if you are passing to the other part of the villa. Arrangements before and on checkout very clear...

This place was a GREAT find ... we were in Muscat for a track meet at TAISM (The American Int'l School of Muscat) and stayed four nights. Rooms were clean, room, and the air-conditioner worked great. Location is superb. Rosemarie and Theresa picked us up at the airport and were always there to help 24/7 - friendly and reliable. They...

Really enjoyed our stay here. Nice rooms and great staff who could not have been more helpful and friendly. Good value for money and a nice change from the 5 stars but will all the amenities. Graet rooftop bar area for a relaxing slurp after a busy days site-seeing Used Nomad for our trips and they were also good.

While on a short break to Oman with my 2 young children (aged 8 and 5) we stayed at Nomad Guest House in Muscat for 3 nights in April 2014. We didn't want to stay at one of the large, expensive and impersonal hotels and there appears to be a real lack of family-friendly, independent accomodation in Oman. We decided...

I have found this guest house very hard to review. I was expecting so much from it based on traveller reviews but it did not live up to the promise. Had it not been for the reviews I would have been perfectly satisfied with it as a B & B but it was the reviews which lead me to choose...

its not often that we have to respond to what we consider are bad reviews. it is very demoralising. But is it entirely fair? you write great things about the rooms but then only give 2 stars out of 5. With reference to the "end of season feeling" as we state on our website we have been instructed verbally by...

We spent a long weekend in Oman, and we were welcomed by Rosemarie... Our room exceeded our expectations- it was a large room off the terrace, and very clean. Our first day we did a tour with Nomad Tours, and we had the pleasure to have the Owner Chris as our guide. While on the tour with Chris, it felt...
