If you plan to be in Doha for one or two days Al-Nakheel is value for money. Centrally located.A big advantage if you give your arrival information you will be picked up and dropped at departure free of charge. The rooms are very small but ok. Breakfast is buffetstyle however somewhat limited.

I booked the hotel over a month prior to my arrival through Booking.com. I sent them an email asking them about the free shuttle bus service that they offer. After getting my flight details, someone emailed me and said everything's organized and the shuttle bus will pick me up at the airport. However, a few days later, someone from the...

This motel is for the budget minded traveler who isn't going to stay in the room much. It's ok for a 1 night stay. The room is clean but in desperate need of updating. There are 4 free parking spaces and the breakfast buffet is decent. The Google map direction puts it right in the souq which was very deceiving...

First of all I am aware that you cannot compare hotels in one country to another as rating is often done by local system. Lets put on side value for money as for the price of cheapest hotel in Doha you can live like king in Indonesia. Rooms are small in volume and space, even no space for small table...

This is a good choice if you are looking for a budget hotel in Doha as it is one of the cheapest around.Facilities are basic with a decent but minimal breakfast buffet. The room service and wifi is strictly ok. Finding cabs might be a bit of a hassle considering the location but airport pickup shouldn't be an issue as...

I booked this hotel for a one night stay in Doha. I didn't want to spend too much, and this was one of the cheapest I could find. Even then, I expected a little more. The room was small and not that clean. The bed was not very comfortable. The free wifi was good. It was OK for the price,...

This hotel is a no frills, average, nice hotel, with dated decor (not a criticism though) Room was fairly big, quality was ok, bed was comfortable and amenities all ok. View was onto a local mosque, a lot of satellite dishes and construction/scaffolding (getting ready for 2022 I guess). Wi-fi included free Breakfast was ok, olives, bread. juices and sweets...

Free pickup from the airport is the best of the hotel, quite friendly staff. The breakfast was good enough but a little to many sweets instead of bread and sutch... The rooms are in serious need of renovation, especially the bathroom but at least the linens are clean and fresh.

The Al-Nakheel hotel is a good choice for the traveler on a budget as it is one of the lower-priced options in Doha. The hotel itself is basic and clean--nothing spectacular. The best points are the location--near the Souq Waqif and the future main transit station--and the complementary airport pick-up and drop-off service.

I stayed in this hotel in February 2013. Good points: Excellent location in the centre of Doha with the Souks only 3mins walk away and the Corniche an additional 10mins. Room quality was great and free wi-fi throughout the hotel. Breakfast was of good quality too. Bad points: Not the cheapest place to stay.
