Hotel is amazing! Clean and big rooms, everything in the room is controlled by an I-pad, the rotating restaurant provides a panoramic view of the city. Best breakfast buffet but a bit overpriced. Highly recommended.

I just wanna give a heAds up on asians planning to go here. You will be treated differently. this is just my experience. Receptions and ETC. Specially on the flying carpet which is their bfast buffet. My family did’nt even been ushered to our seat. We are on our own after they get our rooms details. Other nationalities is given the tour with drinks served. very different how they accommodate us. Last time i will book here. But the hotel is great. Will give it a higher rating but the flying carpet supervisors are just not acceptable.

This outstanding piece of architecture and expensive piece of real state in Doha happens to be also a luxury hotel with 163 luxurious modern rooms and suites, the famous Doha's Revolving Restaurant (360°) and it is conveniently connected to Villaggio Shopping Mall. Actually our pictures (the ones we share) had been taken from Villaggio Shopping Mall. We had the chance and time to enjoy the fine dining atmosphere of their award-winning restaurants which obviously prides itself on the caliber of its cuisine. Beautiful building inside and out, friendly staff, but it's a bit out of the way and there's nothing in the area except the sports arenas so you need to rely on taxis to see anything (the metro isn't working yet).

It turned out the hotel is beautiful but unfortunately the level of service is really bad. It all started with the freezing room where the standard temperature was 18 degrees like in the fridge, we tried to adjust it ourselves, however, failed. After engineer attended he explained to navigate the iPad and left. In the end temperature didn’t change and remained freezing cold, which made me sick. We just switched it off. Secondly the entertainment system really suffers as it got disconnected and the picture wasn’t clear as if being forwarded every now and then. The IT specialist attended and he didn’t give us much clue except for advising to just use internet on the screen, so what is the youtube app on the iPad for ? Regarding your concerns on the room temperature and the in-room Ipad, they have already been addressed to the respective departments, the temperature in all rooms has been increased and the entertainment system has been rebooted, as there was a system malfunction. Our swimming pool closes at 7pm for swimming, but you are still able to visit it unless the weather conditions are bad (closed for security reasons) or if there is a private dinner hosted on the floor above it, which was the case during your visit. Your feedback is very important to us, since we always try to improve our services and unfortunately from your review we see a really unlucky chain of events, as you correctly mention. The torch Doha is a modern hotel in the heart of Doha / Qatar 25 -35min away from the new Doha airport based on traffic. It is connected to a very nice shopping mall “Velagio” so you can have a nice shopping as well. Carefour is within the shopping center. The amenities of the rooms are really good . For Sports fans all Bein sports are available on their TV. The hotel is very close to Sheikh Khalifa stadium ( walking distance)z I recommend the Managment to do some changes on their breakfast menu and also to equip the puplic areas it one of the lounges with TV so we can enjoy watching the sports competitions with our friends rather in our rooms. I recommend it for Doha visitors. I’ll stay there again & again.

Had an amazing time at the Torch Doha, it was so nice to stay at a hotel that not only looks a little different but also delivered a friendly and relaxing stay for my first time visiting Qatar. The pool that sticks out of the iconic tower structure looks out over Doha and the Khalifa Stadium, I've never swam in a pool so close to a major football venue before. For the FIFA Club World Cup (and the World Cup in 2022) this is THE place to stay, the stadium is literally across the road, a 30 second walk! And it wasn't just the stadium in the Aspire Zone that was close by, there was a huge Italian themed shopping mall, the Villagio, next door which was connected by the hotel's own private elevated & air conditioned walk way. Strangest policy I’ve seen at a hotel. We came for dinner and the security wanted to keep the camera as it’s not allowed inside the hotel!! The duty manager explained to me that professional cameras aren’t allowed, but mine was a very compact point and shoot cameras and the security didn’t want to allow it.

visited Doha in end oct2019 first week nov2019 and had an AWESOME dinner at The Torch the restaurant ambience is warm and cozy the view of the entire city is breath taking , and the food exquisite we had the sea food platter and everything on it was delicious the red velvet cheese cake for dessert was something to die for will definitely go there again we were served by and very humble and helpful steward Mehood took good care of us
