Nestled in a prime location, The St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl Qatar, is lauded for its beautiful aesthetics and luxurious atmosphere, complete with stunning artwork and inviting ambiance. Guests have called out the spacious and well-equipped rooms, as well as the meticulous cleanliness throughout the property.
While the hotel's amenities, including the lavish pools and suites, earn rave reviews, some travelers mention high food prices and a shortage of loungers. Despite occasional service delays, the staff's professionalism and attentiveness frequently receive high praise. However, guests should be aware of unexpected costs that may detract from the hotel's traditional charm.

Detailed Reviews
A wonderful time at the St. Regis Marsa Arabia
We visited Doha as part of a business trip and also turned it into a family vacation.
The staff and those responsible were very attentive right from the start at check-in and always tried to implement the guest's wishes immediately. Many thanks at this point to the entire reception and concierge team, including Mr. Pravan and Ms. Oumaima.
Our 2-bedroom 165 sqm suite had a beautiful view and the suites are very comfortable and spacious. There is a separate kitchen and a maid's room in each suite, so highly recommended for family stays.
We were immediately able to welcome the new managing director, Ms. Monika Tritz, who had just accepted the new position as GM. She always had an eye for the guests and took care of their concerns immediately. It was very nice to observe how the team spirit and the flow of information worked perfectly under Monika and how there is a family atmosphere in this hotel, so that the guest feels very comfortable.
The cleaning and room service were excellent and it was once again confirmed to us how “customer first culture” is lived in this hotel and this is immediately reflected in the quality of this hotel. Many thanks to Mr. Jordan and Mr. Jagadish as well as Mr. Michael and Mr. Rojanam for their excellent work.
The pools and spa area are very quiet and clean and the pool staff are very careful to ensure that guests don't miss anything. Many thanks to Mr. Ranjan and Mr. Ashan for the great service.
All restaurants at this hotel were high quality and professional. We really liked Roberto's and Chotto Matte.
The Regis Marsa Arabia in Doha therefore offers the opportunity for a business trip that can be combined with a family vacation.
At this point I would like to thank Monika's entire team for the wonderful 12 days. We appreciated and enjoyed your hospitality.
We will visit you again soon.

What a superb property
We had a 1 bedroom apartment in the hotel it was stunning and modern very clean and had a kitchen and 2 bathrooms with an amazing view of the city and ocean.
Checked us in 3 hours early with a beautiful welcome fruit basket and treats , they accomadate us with a baby crib and blanket for our baby and reccomended a babysitting service as well.
Property is stunning with 5 restaurants all were excellent and highbend from lebanese to japan and italian.
Pool was great with a kids activity area who was run by an amazing Girl named Carla who entertained of our toddler while we relaxed at the pool , the life guard was a great guybas well as pool staff.
Staff members that went above and beyond for us the whole stay
Ebruz and Ozay at the front desk
Ibarhim and Joseph from the bell service
Rajan , lalit and nicole housekeeping
Sedat and Jeremy at breakfast
One if best St Regis we have stayed at around the world , only improvement would be more breakfast options maybe a weekend buffet but thats all to be honest truley a gem in doha.

The minute you walk in to the beautiful lobby you are greeted with a warm smile by everyone. The amenities and the room are wonderful. What sets them apart is the impeccable service. We specifically want to mention Ibrahim, the porter, who always greets us by name and asks if there's anything we need. Also, Lalit and Jasmin from housekeeping have been fantastic and always attentive. The room is spotless and well stocked. We highly recommend St Regis, Doha and hope to come back.

First visit to the week old property. Expectations were undoubtedly high because of the St Regis brand and the wonderful experiences at St Regis Resort in Katara previously.
Everything went wrong.
Was there for breakfast with 3 friends. My wife was served a mouldy chocolate pastry - those furry white strands of mould were not a mistake. 2 friends ordered tea, one with and one without mint. Order was wrong and the server said he couldn't do one without, even though the mint leaves were clearly an addition. Wife ordered coffee and it took about 30min. The server doesn't smell pleasant and we guessed their uniform is probably washed at home and not taken care of by the hotel, very strange. Not entirely the employee's fault, especially if they were not in the hospitality line before, which we suspect to be the case here. Stern face and strict, you would have thought the servers just booked out of a military camp.
The variety for breakfast was disappointing, again by SR standards. To be fair, we gave our feedback and the only service recovery for the mouldy food was to waive off one breakfast cost, though that didn't help much to our morning experience, and the coffee wait didn't help.
We understand that the team and property is new, but basic service/hygiene and food prep/hygiene can never be compromised, especially for a known brand in the industry.
I will not recommend dining at this property, or bring overseas guests, until the staff is trained or the reviews turn positive.

We stayed in the biggest apartment the St Regis can offer but not everything was 5 star as it should, for instance no designation of parking space, have to use the valet which is not efficient on weekends when it’s busy specially if you are a family that’s staying for almost two weeks you would want the ease of coming in and out of the hotel. ( especially if you are staying for 2 weeks and paying for the “best and largest apartment” )
A member of the butler was rude on the phone to us when we asked for 4-5 towels extra she said “ which one is it you want 4 or 5” if you are 5 star you’d go beyond that and even offer more if you can.
Cleaning service didn’t come for 3 days even though we asked them to skip one day only , the apartment was the “best” they have but corridors were hot not air conditioned properly and at the end of corridors there is mold in the ceiling.
No cutlery or plates provided. When ordering from outside they won’t deliver food or groceries to you from the delivery company you have to come and take it yourself from the lobby where is the 5 star? At least have a valet deliver it to the guests room like any other hotels.
The three bedroom apartment felt damp, a person would appear at anytime to come water the plants in the balcony without prior notice of the hotel management and the person is not dressed as hotel staff. Fire alarm testing happened twice the first one we got a paper notice about it which is fine but the second one they didn’t even tell us and we have two kids under two sleeping and the alarm scared them!
To top it off i called them to extend for one more night and they said we will send someone to collect payment with the card machine I have never seen such management asking for the money in that way it is as if you will run away from them even though I already paid 30k+ for my stay already, and when I was busy out with my kids they kept calling and saying you have to pay and we will send you a link like that made the experience much worse!!

We arrived a few days before NYE having travelled from elsewhere before heading back to UK. We were in Doha in March 2023 and loved it so were happy to come back. This time we decided to stay at the pearl as wanted to explore this area.
We ended up finding a decent deal and booked our stay at St Regis. On arrival we were welcomed and helped as you’d expect and then were taken to check in where we were greeted and checked in by a friendly team.
The room/suite was amazing with a large kitchen and living room space and a separate bedroom, a large en suite and a separate WC. It had all the things you’d want and have.
The location is good, the pearl has a lot of restaurants and places to eat as amenities. However it is catered to a lot of westerners, which was ok but we didn’t really like that. This, in turn, resulted in mainly westerners staying at the hotel, so with all that you didn’t really feel like you were in Doha.
The hotel amenities are good but the extras like food is very expensive which meant we went out to eat.
Without sounding picky I felt it was too big a hotel to feel personable or feel connected with. Last time we stayed at ritz sharq village and although that is a big hotel it felt a lot more welcoming and the staff were a lot more attentive and more approachable and next time we will probably stay there again. Also the people staying there were a lot more diverse which we like. That’s not to say the staff were not nice here but they didn’t go above what was expected.
We also did notice that sometimes it took a long time to get attention of staff. We called reception a few time with no answer and when we walked down to reception it was unattended and only the door staff were available. So unsure whether they’re short staffed. There was also one day where they forgot to clean the room and when we called to ask for room to be cleaned, we were made to feel like it was an unreasonable request.
Overall, the room was amazing, the hotel looks great and has all amenities but any “extras” were expensive, not very personable and didn’t feel very true to Qatari tradition (which is meant to be welcoming and friendly).
We probably won’t stay there again (although the suite is a very tempting) it just isn’t for us. It is probably more for those who want a light touch (in respect of communication) service from staff.
We may come across harsh (with a 3/5 score) but I am comparing to the same standard of hotels we have stayed at. I am a gold elite member for Marriott and have been lucky enough to stay at some very nice hotels

This is in now way a St Regis level property so beware before booking. This property is an adapted residence style apartment building and hence the layout is atrocious with no signage or directions.
No room available for a platinum member at 10:30pm check in when arrival time was clearly submitted via the app 24hrs in advance.
Generally poor training for staff across the board. Either hysterical or complete lack of understanding of Bonvoy or their policies. I had breakfast included in the rate as well as it being a Platinum perk and yet I was presented with a bill at breakfast and told it wasn’t included.
Pool vibe is completely off - more of an attempt at beach club. No loungers for actual guests and priority placed on selling access. Completely at odds with a St Regis proposition.
No housekeeping attendance by 2pm.
Cigar lounge is right next to rooms and penetrates the entire corridor if you’re unlucky enough to be in a room nearby.
The complete irony of the whole situation was even after being proactively asked to provide feedback and compensation offered - they can’t even credit 10k points to an account, that, is how incompetent they are as a property.
There are many, many better options in Doha.

Went for a day visit to the pool. Great adults only pool. Attendant would regularly come round with cold face towels and water. Peaceful and clean. Quick food and bar service. Comfortable and readily available
Sun loungers. Complimentary valet parking and very helpful staff member at the door called Joseph.

We went on a pool day and we were treated like VIPs! From arrival the warm welcome from the young lady on the pool reception desk really set the tone of our day. All the staff we encountered were so friendly and kind, the pool and surrounding sun loungers were kept incredibly clean and tidy and as soon as people left the loungers were cleaned and refreshed ready for next clients.
We were treated to ice cold water which was refreshed frequently, the ice cool towels were a fantastic idea since it was 44 degrees. We were even able to join in a fun game of bingo. Thanks go to the lovely young girl on the pool reception sorry I didn’t ask your name who greeted us both on arrival and asked us if we enjoyed our day when we left. Thanks to Yusuf, Gopi and Devendra for really making our day very enjoyable, highly recommended and we will be certain to return, thank you.

The housekeeping service is top class.
Cynthia julius and jerrick go above and beyond with their efforts to ensure we are happy. Cleaning is excellent , attention to detail is exceptional and the towel sculptures left on our bed are amazing and make us laugh with there skill. Elephants , rabbits , octopuses- there is no end to their skill. The happy demeanour and Willingness to assist is most appreciated.
