The room was good with a cultural mosaic feel and an amazing view. Location is great but the staff are not as professional as I hoped and Internet was a hassle to get connected as it kept cutting me off and had to purchase a few cards every time. The breakfast to the room needs better options and you need...

I stayed in Cham Palace on and off for over two months. Because of the lack of tourists in the country, the place is not getting enough clientele and needs a bit of maintenance, but it still maintains great quality. Most of the staff speak English, and if they don't they will find an English speaking staff to speak to...

One of the oldest hotel in damascus. Clean large rooms. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast. City center. Close to markets restaurants and cafes. Quiet lounge with beautiful decor. There is a very good chineese restaurant. On top there is a syrian restaurant where it rotates and u can have an amazing view of damascus

It's old but working. Convenient. Anong the many of its restaurants, French revolving restaurant and Chinese are still open and offer relatively good food and alcohol. Brreakfast is available only through room service. It's in the middle of business center. You can find various shops around the hotel.

Despite the turmoil raging in this lovely country the Cham Palace is an oasis in this once fine city. Everything works. Elevators are fast, room service and food is good, revolving restaurant on 15th floor is good. Staff are simply excellent. Wifi (payable) is good. Rooms are very good, spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are roomy. I...

Back after 21 years and the old Cham hasn't changed much. There's other hotels in Damas much more expensive but if you know the various "rates" you can still get a good deal. Don't expect ferns and fans in this place and if you don't mind saggy beds, the odd bug and yella yella should you be foolish enough to...

Very expensive, below standard 5 stars hotel, very poor breakfast I could do better than...
