Arrived very late for our check in time so we decided to get a half day extension. Adam, at reception, was helpful and even upgraded our room to the beautiful beach view. Michael, one of the security staff, was also kind enough to assist us in explaining to taxi driver where we wanted to go. The best chauffeur, PATRICIO (and elmira at desk), was all out in assisting us with everything! So very helpful, warm and accommodating! We are definitely looking forward to going back to the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr!

We have just returned from our wonderful 10 night stay with my family and parents. It was our first time visting Abu Dhabi and it wont be our last. The Fairmont is one of a select few hotels to have a significant beach and is in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of the corniche. This makes it the perfect place to relax. However downtown and Yas island are both within easy reach - 20 min drive. The view overlooking the creek directly to the grand mosque is a huge bonus and something we enjoyed waking up to each morning. Breakfast had a huge selection and a lovely outdoor terrace. There were many conferences and events happening during our stay with most days being very busy. Yet the team kept breakfast service flowing smoothly and we never felt rushed or items on offer never ran out. The buffet was well laid out and organised. There were always plenty of sunbeds and cabanas avaliable every day of our stay. The lifeguards were always plesant and helpful and we appericiated their attendance especially with lots of young swimmers around. Naresh and the beach bar team were fantastic and we often had lunch and cocktails on the beach each day. We ate at most restaurants within the hotel except the steakhouse and Cafe Sushi. The buffet selection in Cuiscene was impressive and delicious (please open on more nights!) The staff were fantastic at all restaurants but we would especially like to mention Eric (security), all the Bridges staff and the two lovely ladies who are the hostesses at Marco's. We enjoyed the pianist in Marco's and think it would be nice to have more live performers/DJs We had planned lots of activities during our stay and concierge were great especially Zahid and Melvin. Rafat and Mohamed made our stay extra special, helping us countless times with transfers, abayas for the mosque, taxis and lots of fun chat about life and football. Bringing a smile to our face every day. Thank you! The reception team are also exceptional. A huge thank you to Omar, Mina, Adam, Mariana and Qussai....nothing was ever too much trouble and always so very helpful. Overall our stay at Fairmont was fantastic and we cannot wait to return!! …

This is our fifth trip back to the Fairmont and it was superb as ever. We had a beautiful large room which was spacious for our daughter and had a stunning view of the pool, beach and mosque. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly doing very thing they could to make our stay enjoyable. We always upgrade to gold when we stay and the staff on gold floor were all fantastic - Rajan looked after us daily as well as Stephen, Mariam, Rony, Song and Mark. Amazing hotel and lovely service! Beautiful place! Will come here again! However more importantly the staff were wonderful. Roy Gonzales to mention specifically and his assistant Mosishid were so kind! Roy even gave my boys a towel art lesson to turn it into a puppy!! So polite and eager to put a smile on their guests faces! He is a great assets to the fairmont team!

This was our first visit to Abu Dhabi and our second stay at a Fairmont hotel. I chose the Fairmont because I trust the brand and it did not disappoint!! We travelled here as a family of four, myself, my husband and our twin girls of ten years old. We chose the gold level because of the perks such as an absolutely fantastic afternoon tea from 1-3 and soft drinks all day and the happy Hour drinks and food from 5-7. Well the food was that amazing that we did not spend anymore money on dinner for myself and my husband for the whole stay. The only thing we spent money on was nuggets and chips and milk shakes for the kids by the pool! I would highly recommend booking the gold level and definitely a sea view ! The room was amazing, the food, the drinks, the staff Rajan, Rony, Stephen, Mark and Mariam were beyond amazing! The room was big enough for the four of us and had a lovely wet room with a massive bath. I would definitely come back in a heart beat. I literally have one negative and I feel really bad saying it we had such a lovely stay but our room had two queen beds in it and in the uk queen beds are quite big but here they are smaller than a uk small double so my husband had a bed to himself and I slept with one of the twins and I asked for a roll away bed for the other twin who needs her own space and struggles at the moment with a few issues which I was originally told was chargeable but they agreed to give it complementary. I would say the beds need to be at least a standard double/ king size if families are meant to share the beds with their children or rollaway beds need to be complimentary. Everything else was absolutely amazing including the pool the lifeguards and all the staff we encountered on this holiday. I can’t thank you enough for a truly memorable trip. We will be back. Just to add- I had a pedicure in the hotel, a blow dry and we went on an amazing day trip to Nurai Island. I would recommend it all in a heart beat.…

Check in at Reception was quick and a complimentary upgrade offered with a high floor and view of the mosque. This was beautiful and absolutely added to our overall experience. Reception is very open, decorated in a contemporary and elegant and the most wonderful cakes available to purchase - which included dairy free! Hotel room was large, great detail and very well presented. Housekeeping was of a high level throughout the stay. All Housekeeping staff were very friendly. Pool and beach were superb and a feeling of exclusiveness at Bab al Bar. Lifeguards were present and beach bar was close by. Food by the pool was excellent and a varied menu. We were all inclusive and had access to Marco's Italian as well as the buffet, both of which were fantastic. What made our holiday was Selina (Restaurant Manager), who we have to thank for looking after my youngest son with a milk allergy. Nothing was too much trouble and she made sure he had a different dessert every night of his stay! They made him his own diary free pizzas in the pizza oven too which were delicious. We preferred dining outside at Marco's under the lights and the evenings were warm. We had the Easter Sunday Brunch included in our package and all I can say is WOW - it was incredible. A feast like no other and fun for the kids too if they wanted to join in. The Easter bunny even made an appearance! We also ate in the second Marco Restaurant with a reduced supplement and the steak was lovely. We travelled out to nearby attractions and taxi's were very reasonable - there is a concierge team in the hotel who are on hand 24/7. From the minute we arrived at the Fairmont Hotel we were treated like special guests. Our stay was for 10 days in May up in the Fairmont Gold Lounge . We had stayed at the hotel quite a few times before pre Covid days. The staff in the Fairmont Gold Lounge all brought something special with their personalities/professionalism and kindness. Mariamu who checked us in and whom we had met before treated us with us such warmth and friendliness with her lovely laugh. Stephen made us great cocktails and we had good chats. Zalimar was very professional, charming and kind, great cocktail maker too. Mark and Rony made us delicious iced coffees and waited on us hand and foot. Finally Rajan who not only made us great cocktails but went over and above his duties with helpfulness and kindness. Nothing was too much for the staff to do for us to ensure we had happy and comfortable stay . Thanks too to Charlene who gave us pool towels each day, always smiling and held the door open every day for my husband(who was walking with sticks) The food at the hotel was delicious, varied and tasty. Chef at breakfast got my husband's soft cheese omelette spot on. We would thoroughly recommend the hotel for comfort, lovely staff, good location, easy to get taxis/use of hotel shuttle. A magnificent hotel with a breathtaking view of the Sheik Zayed Mosque! A gourmet and delicious breakfast buffet! And finally a big thank you to Giovani who helped me a lot since he speaks French!
