However, during Ramadan hotels still operate, usually limiting food and alcohol to one or two outlets within the hotel during the day where food and alcohol can be consumed. In most hotels you won’t be able to eat or drink by the pool or beach (as that is in public) before sunset. These are general rules. The best thing is to check with the hotel, as they may have special permits, etc.
