I traveled alone to UAE for business purposes and due to COVID-19 the company booked quarantine ( full board) in Crowne plaza Hotel. I stayed in double room lateral side with city view which is quiet and has pleasant scen.The Hotel in Hamadan street which consider in the middle of the city less than 5 mins to Abu Dhabi corniche, 10 mins to Wahda mall, 25 mins from airport, different cuisine restaurants, supermarkets around you, this is as well as different means of transportation ( bus station and taxi) just step outside the hotel.
Due to quarantine rules I didn't have the chance to use all the Hotel Amenities but I can say that the room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the flat TV has no channel guide and old style to connect the mobile or the laptop, I enjoyed too much the meals variety and taste so much that I was planning to order delivery meals from outside the hotel but they use to surprise in each meal they offer.
The staf were professional, helpful, friendly and courteous. They are all working to provide comfortable stay for the guests.
Special thanks for Mr.Maged Mohammed for his attention to follow up my satisfaction on all sectors and Thanks for all the staff specially Mr. Herbaz ,Ms. Camille and Mr.Mustafa.

I stayed at Crowne Plaza during the Eid holidays, last week, 30th July to 2nd August, the hotel has an amazing location on Hamdan street, close to restaurants and shopping centres, there was no valet parking due to COVID restrictions, how ever plenty of parking was available around the hotel. The suite room was quite spacious, small kitchenette was quite handy, Mustafa at reception was very helpful, room service and house keeping were quite slow and required numerous calls for anything. the only blemish was that breakfast was very poor, i had paid for the breakfast for both the days when i booked the room, however 2 or 3 small boxes were delivered everyday with what so ever no choice of food, this was not acceptable. The pool was very good and the gym quite modern, Terrence was quite helpful in these places.Expected a more personal touch from the hotel

I booked this stay for a short business trip to Abu Dhabi based on its location down town. Check in was OK, but initially I wasn't recognized as a platinum IHG member. The room was good sized but rather outdated - the furnishings and colors are reminiscent of older hotels in the area (e.g. Grand Continental). Bathroom toiletries were missing their seals so I decided to use my own, rather than call housekeeping for fresh ones as it was quite late at night. After dinner, I went to the lobby to inquire where I could use the drink voucher I had received upon check-in. Much to my surprise, I was answered quite rudely by the front desk person (not the same person who checked me in) and consequently I decided not to use the voucher. Breakfast the next morning was average and I have to say that the quality was mediocre as compared to other hotels I have used in Abu Dhabi and Dubai while on business. I won't be using this property again - I will revert to staying at one of my preferred hotels (the Holiday Inn on Electra Street or the Dusit Thani).

I requested the hotel an early check in through my booking app. Their reply was they would do their best to accommodate our request. When we arrived at the hotel in the morning I was told that all room was occupied for them to give me any room. The gentleman at the reception assured us to get us our rooms in next couple of hours. That didn’t happen and I was told if I pay $100 ( can’t remember exact amount) extra they would be able to get us to a room. We left our luggage at the reception and left to see Abu Dhabi.
We came back around 2.45 PM. Our luggage was still at the concierge and they still didn’t have the rooms for us. When I asked the lady at the reception she was fluffy. We had to wait longer to get our rooms.
I expected a little better service from the team.

This was the worst IHG experience I ever had as a Diamond IHG member. The hotel didn’t feel like a Crowne Plaza at all and my stay was not up to the standards I’m used to even in a Holiday Inn despite the fact I was upgraded to a better room. Room cleanliness was below standards, especially the toilet, room service was bad, food arrived without cutlery, salt & pepper, I had to call room service again and wait for it to be delivered. The wooden old food tray was dirty, had water on it under the food plates and the food presentation was extremely bad and the halloumi cheese salad was replaced by a coleslaw one!!! A/C in room had a nonstop humming sound, I couldn’t sleep at all and the desk working area had no electricity outlets. Checkin was good but checkout was very unfriendly without any thank you words or eagerness to know about my stay as a Diamond member.
I needed a 1 night stay in Abu Dhabi as I had a meeting, I chose this hotel because am loyal to IHG and I always get treated well as a Diamond member. However, I was extremely disappointed with this hotel, which requires lots of work in terms of the property itself or the overall service.

My family stayed for about 30 days in this 5 star hotel Crowne Plaza . The services are excellent and entire staff found to be very friendly and responsive. Utmost attention and support given to my wife who got injured during our stay. Right from Valet Parking we got full support and positive response. Especially, Mr. Ahmed Farooq, Banquet Manager was very responsive and his team gave brilliant services. Food at this prevailing Covid-19 was hygienic with quality maintained. There is a family environment and friendly response from Room services, Housekeeping and Maintenance teams. Worth mentioning here that Chefs call us for our requirements if we could not find the type of food available on the menu and provide suitable type to match our health conditions. We strongly recommend this hotel for anyone.

The only 5 star thing about this hotel is the Cluster Housekeeping Manager Nader Saadneh who looked after me throughout my stay and was available even on his day off. The other person who also deserves 5 stars is the Housekeeping Manager Jacob and I saw that he had been immediately informed about any problems.
I got back to my room the first evening I was there and found the bathroom ceiling leaking water in one place and oil in another. Maintenance arrived soon after to fix it but this hotel is in serious need of renovation and there is no way it is a 5 star hotel, more like 3 stars. Also, the cleaners need to be educated in personal hygiene. It's not a pleasant experience to have the cleaner leave a whiff of B.O. when he leaves your newly cleaned room.
The electrical outlet was miles away from the bed. I always travel with an extension cable but it was still too far away so I had to ask for another one. On checkout, I asked a man called Yash for a copy of my invoice. He said the computer system wasn't working properly and promised to send me a copy. He didn't.
I was back in Abu Dhabi the following week and stayed at the Sofitel this time which is a real 5 star hotel. I went back to the hotel to ask again for a copy of my invoice and was served by Janella who fiddled around on her computer for so long that I was going up the wall and then told me she couldn't do it because of a problem with the system. She promised to get a copy from the accounts department and send it to me and so far I still haven't received it.
I heard that the hotel is due to be renovated and if it is then I will stay there again as it's in a good location and the price is very good.

We always choose crowne plaza Abu Dhabi for our staycation because we know nothing will disappoint us. The location is great (in the center of the city) and very important for us...they provide valet parking (which is not all hotels provide that service). From the time we enter the hotel, we always feel the warm welcome by the concierge guys. Thank you for Mustafa in the front desk who was assisting us upon check-in, it was very smooth process and efficient. Also thank you so much for Mr. Nader the front office manager he's very kind and helpful. We got suite room this time, and the room is spacious with separate TV room, a king bed..a big bathtub (I love the smell of their shower gell and shampoo). When we went to the pool, Musa was there to assist us, thank you for always remembering our name Musa :) as well the lifeguard, he's very friendly. We requested for a drinking glass from housekeeping at late night and they sent it within minutes which was extremely impressive. Not to forget to mention, I love the smell inside the elevator....I don't know what kind of scent they use but it smells very fresh. Thank you so much everyone in crowne plaza who always do their 100% and beyond to make us enjoy our stay. You all deserve more than 5 star! Definitely will come back.

I had spend almost 10 days in this hotel. Each day I felt very comfortable by the professional and cordial services from the house keeping staff especially by Shivani (team leader ) and Indika.

Hi there, I'm just a former guest so you may want to contact the hotel directly. I think this would be a great option for your family. The rooftop pool and the breakfast buffet will be very convenient for you. The room sizes are also decent and I remember rollaway cots were available too. The neighborhood is safe and is just a short taxi to the Corniche (boardwalk) where you can turn your kids loose.
