Hotel's Favourite
We had an amazing experience at the resort. The room was just perfect, overlooking the Giraffes. It was spacious, comfy and homely. The zoo itself is spectacular, especially when you get to see and feed and so many animals up close. The place is filled sleigh entertainment for kids and the shows there are amazing. It was our son’s birthday and they gave him a jingle themed surprise with all the drums and consumes, really appreciate the effort put in by the staff.
The staff over there is amazing, helpful, courteous and always willing to go an extra mile. The restaurant and food options are pretty good, we had some Arabic meal for lunch and English breakfast before checking out. It’s a must visit for all families and even couples, who love nature and wildlife.

This is our second time we are spending 31 st December in chalet. We had invited one more family and Believe me the experiences are getting better and better. Saeed and his team as usual ensures u r at the best comforts. You may visit them once or twice a year but the team recognizes you and greets you with same love. Saeed being extra busy with houseful chalet and hotel he ensure every guest is well treated and comfortable. He takes our personal time and plans for your comfort. Place is Very secured for kids and they are free to move around in zoo with good educators around while u relax sipping coffee in chalet watching giraffe. The only problem is Saeed and his team makes it as an addition and u cancel your other small trips and spend it in this property again and again. We have already made plan for next visit.

The room was spacious with nice seating outside on porch. Fresh towels and amenities like shampoo. The room has a microwave and kettle. It was peaceful at night, the bed is slightly hard and the pillows a bit high. The AC was the only problem, super super cold, so we slept with it off. If you adjust it, it shows incorrect temperatures. Our stay included zoo tickets, its a big zoo and my girls loved feeding the baby goats milk bottles. All staff at resort and zoo is super friendly. Bonus if you have little one’s as there is plenty to do. Honey tour at aed 30 p.p. Soft play slide and games area. A kids pool which is warm and also a bigger pool which is cooler. Breakfast also included at The Hide, excellent service and options. Kids can feed the ducks while you eat. The eggs were very salty though both days. There are a few ants and flies, but i guess thats part of the experience :-) Highly recommend and will be back.

Booked Family Chalet. Total of 4 family members.
Good:
Spacious Room, comes with a bedroom, and a living area, the couch in the living area turns into a bed.
Both rooms had smart TV’s.
One bathroom, stand up shower, room has been updated.
Couch bench outside the room, lovely scene of the zoo and animals.
Bad:
No towels in room, called and only 2 were brought to us while we were 4.
No kitchenware. No tissue. AC had annoying rattle.
Staff were very rude, no motivation, no hotel and hospitality skills. Parking is a mess.
Room service was very well below average, and served in pizza boxes, and take out boxes. See pictures.
The Resort has potential, location is good. But the staff, I can’t stress enough on how bad the staff were. Rude and very inefficient. I wish hotel management would train them or change them.
If you plan to visit, only the chalets have been renovated. Don’t let the staff spoil you time, the zoo and animals are great. The zoo staff are better than the resort staff. And enjoy yourself to the max. Also would recommend getting your own coffee, snacks with you. As none are provided in the room or hotel.

We like this hotel a lot as its a reasonable price near to where we like to be. Access to the zoo is great although information not always given at check in about the zoo and activities. Nice room, great TV with netflix etc if you have an account and decent pool. Loud club style music is played at the pool from 10am so if you want a peaceful morning it's not the place. Music is nice but the volume way too loud.
Our main issue is towels! The room does not come with towels. I know what you're thinking... We were probably unlucky and it was a mistake. However we have now stayed 4 times and never had towels provided for the room or the pool. Not sure if there's a staff shortage or not enough towels but they need to sort it out as it's a necessity for a hotel stay. We got in late & wanted to shower but had to wait 45mins for a towel.
Will definitely stay again and will give it a 5 star review if they sort out towels, milk/cream for tea/coffee in the room and turn the pool music down in the morning!

So I booked at the resort, keeping in mind it’s suppose to come with some amenities, I get stuff Is closed cause of Covid but they offered no substitute for mis leading info, clearly states in website things you get with the room unlimited water tea coffee and soft drinks club access nothing is what I got except a hefty price for the room. I live 30 minutes away I paid for the experience to get let down. At least inform guess at check in so they can decide whether they want a basic room again I paid for the experience!!!

Yes, we visited again!
This time we booked the Premium Giraffe Arena chalet. We were two adults and 3 kids. The chalet is amazing very large and well equipped. The view is directly on the Giraffe arena which gives you the feeling that you are in the savanna surrounded by animals, my kids really loved it. We booked just before school starts in August 28, so it was not really crowded. There is a great Improvement with regards to internet, the coverage now is full, all over the zoo. The kids attended the Birds show and the Elephant show which are a must see in my opinion.
A big thank you to the staff they are really friendly and attentive to our needs. And a bigger thank you to Mr. Saeed the managers, such professional person who always go beyond to provide top-notch support.
Best regards and see you soon in the coming kids break with larger group.

We decided to book to stay at the hotel during the summer holiday Covid 19. It had only been soft relaunched and you could tell. Our room had no towels, teabags, water and it could have done with a freshen up. However, the staff were lovely and apologetic and it was such little things that we didn’t let it spoil our stay.
The zoo was open and the zip line and shows were running. The amusement area was still shut and so was the pool, which was a shame as it was so hot. We decided to spend only one night in the end, due to this.
The restaurants are serving on takeaway containers. We had hoped to order room service for breakfast but they don’t start serving until the zoo is open at 9am which was really late for us as we have young children. It is a shame that they don’t offer something extra for hotel guests.
The chalets themselves are huge and the area outside is wonderful; looking at the zebras and giraffes whenever you want.
All in all we had a lovely time and had the pool been open we would have stayed longer.
