What a lovely gem Rima Guesthouse is! Absolutely immaculate. Warm and inviting staff. Felt very safe there. Appreciated the location with several good restaurant and bakery options within easy walking. We are two women in mid fifties, and early sixties, and I found it interesting that the other guests were all over thirty, most just younger than us. Would highly...

It's a nice place, and one of the few reasonably priced hotels in Georgetown - it's such an expensive place, especially for what you get. Rima is clean and comfortable. The location is really good (go to Shanta's nearby!)/ The wifi in my room was good enough for Netflix! I think my bed had bedbugs. But, even so I give...

I stayed at Rima's for two nights in April. As promised, the guesthouse was clean! It's a lovely old, wooden building near the center of town. You can walk to restaurants and most of the Georgetown attractions. Downstairs is a bakery called Fernandes. They have good coffee and deli style sandwiches. The wifi worked well. I recommend, and I'll be...

A safe, clean and good-value place. We met other travellers there which was nice and the staff are helpful and friendly. It has a nice sitting room to sit and relax with a beer. The rooms at the front are noisy but we didn't mind. I'd definitely recommend this lovely budget place to stay.

Nice and clean hostel. The staff is very helpful and recomended good options for dining out and helped us eith organising our visit to Kaiteur falls. Fair prices and kingsize beds with mosquito nets and fan in the room. A good choice for packpackers.

I read about Rima's Guesthouse on some travelers' blogs and other choices in Georgetown all seem relatively unreasonably expensive, so I chose this place as my main base for several days when I was in Georgetown in the fall of last year. Due to that it is a budget accommodation (less than US$30 per night in the fall of 2014),...

Family-run basic accommodation in the center of Georgetown. No a/c and noisy environment (disco and car alarms), but clean and tidy budget option. Somewhat slow WiFi is included, shower/toilet is on the floor (i.e. shared).

Guyana its expensive, but you can find really horrible hostal for a los of money, THIS IS NOT THE CASE! Rima its a nice hostal, with really nice staff, clean, good internet, mosquito net and a fan un every room. The best option in Georgetown by far!

Rima guesthouse is a good and clean hostel. Allowed us to keep luggage there when away for a few days. Good sized rooms with fans. Shared bathrooms- always clean. Helpful staff. Not the place to stay durimg mashamarni, as the all night party is in the park across the street- very very loud! All other nights we stayed there were...

The guesthouse has a lot of character, and is friendly and very clean. Staff can help with taxis, transport to Suriname, laundry etc. Maps of Guyana etc are available. Bathrooms are shared but always clean. Good wifi. Recommend.
