The service is minimal and the breakfast is too ordinary and of poor quality. The additional night requested during the week was 30% more expensive than the previous 4

Main bedroom was large and wanted to have a shower. Shower head connection was broken and spinning like an helicopter from the attachment on the wall, leaking spurts of water. Shower gel, soap and conditioner provided in bathrooms but no shampoo during our stay - when requested we were told out of stock.
Other rooms were of a good size but A/C throughout our stay was hit and miss, becoming warm , going off during night disturbing sleep.
Buffet breakfast was same every day, lukewarm hot food selections (hot food shouldn't be stewing e.g. undercooked mixed with burnt soggy bacon, and should be refreshed frequently) - poor brother to usual Hilton standard. Malongo coffee was bitter, jam should be portion controlled for hygiene and sneezeguard should be installed over all the cold breakfast buffet.
All staff however friendly and professional. Rooms very clean.
Property is in need of major refurbishment. Washing machine/dryer required a replacement door to work and we had to call maintenance several times to fix it. Appliances in apartment are old.
Great convenient location with stunning views over Anse Vata bay and the friendly helpful staff are the highlights of staying here. Downside is need for updated reburshment.
We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment with ocean views - this was very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. As other reviews have mentioned, the pool is underwhelming, however we spent our days at the beach so it wasn't an issue.
We would definitely stay here again in the future.

On speaking with the staff, they agreed to change our room to another with better AC, but it would not be ready till after 4pm, so we couldnt unpack or settle in.
On moving, we realised it had the same portable AC units installed. It turns out that all apartments in that building had the portable units. You could not hear the TV, music or phone calls over the volume of the units. It was very desturbing to sleep too.
To make matters worse, little things were missing, like no drinking glasses, and no corkscrew. Then the phone wasn't working so I couldn't call reception, but had to go down in person.
Then I did a load of washing. The washing machine wouldn't pump out or spin, and I was flying out the next day so had to get my washing dry. Maintenance was called and had to manually pump out the machine. We had to wait around missing sight seeing, but eventually went out with reception promising to ensure my washing was spun so I could hang to dry overnight. We came back to our room with sodden clothes still in the machine.
Another complaint, and they arranged to collect the washing and get it dry for us.
In saying all this, the staff were lovely and tried to help. The view and position good. The Maintenance and upkeep is appalling. The booking cost over A$1000 for the three nights, and we felt all we did was complain, and missed out on sightseeing due to having to change rooms, keep visiting reception and wait around for maintenence.
There was no disclosure of the air conditioning problems, which must be longstanding. We booked through a third party provider, and will be complaining to them too as we would have preferred to book somewhere that is as sold.
Also we were unhappy to learn when we checked in for our five night stay that the hotel restaurant was not open for dinner for the entirety of our stay. The hotel breakfast was okay but not luxurious. We ended up going to a nearby cafe for breakfast instead.
We would not stay here again.

Wifi was excellent, the best I've experienced in a hotel for some time.
Room facilities are great, the washing machine in particular came in very handy. Large TV in the lounge room and another in the bedroom. Furniture was plentiful, functional and comfortable.
Everything was spotlessly clean throughout the entire apartment, including the bathroom, and the daily cleaning by the house staff kept it that way.
Lots of shopping, restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity (including the fantastic L'Atelier Gourmand bakery), or a short walk away in Lemon Bay.
Bus stops out front for buses to the City Centre (you can get a connecting bus to the Cultural Centre and other areas from the bus centre there). The bus services are impressive and cheap, with interactive route maps showing you exactly where you are, and recorded announcements at every stop.
Loved the restaurant the few times I visited (though didn't have breakfast).
Reception, restaurant and house Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.
My only real complaint was the lack of lighting in the bedroom. No ceiling lights, only a small bedside light which was frustrating when trying to read a book.
Overall a great stay, in a great location and would definitely stay again.
On the down side, breakfast was not the best but had a decent spread. We also didn't appreciate the blatant imbalance between the female and male gyms. The male gym is quarter the size of the female gym and had old and dated equipment falling apart whereas the female gym according to my wife was brand new. Even she felt it seemed the hotel was trying to overcompensate and pander exclusively to the females.
Location wise it's fantastic with a galleria downstairs and just across the road to Anse Vata beach. Also walking distance to the Aquarium and Baie de Citron.
Our apartment had awesome views and great layout. We had a corner room and my favorite feature was the window in shower - I brushed my teeth while enjoying views of mountains.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
Thanks team, outstanding service and a very thankful daughter!
