This 5 star resort sits in a nice waterside location, with reasonable snorkelling off the beach, but it is really just another resort. Palau is SO beautiful you are better off not wasting your money on this over-priced resort, saving it instead for the plethora of wonderful tours that await your discovery. The food we had for lunch was way...

Palau is one of the premier dive locations in the world. I spent a second week solo sea-kayaking in the Rock Islands (well known now from the TV show “Survivor 2005) and a week diving. For a week the fantastically beautiful under-water world of coral, anemones, sea turtles, mantas, and reef sharks at the dive sites of Blue Caverns, Peleliu,...

We were not guests here (but at Carolines Resort just up the hill) but were able to use the amenities. The bar and restaurant were good - good food (except the pizza which tasted like nothing) and great drinks. A bit pricier than other places in town but with a view like it has it is worth it! The resort...

Yes, I would definitely say this is PROBABLY the best hotel on the island....we stayed her for two nights after staying at the Royal. PPR is more like a tropical resort with a nice private beach while the Royal is more like a modern type of hotel nicely maintained. Since PPR is located near a forest, their were fallen leaves...

~We were staying at another hotel, and were given a day pass to The Palau Pacific Resort. This place is lovely. The beach is very pretty & the most gorgeous sunsets, also an inviting pool. There was live entertainment, local dancers..... There is a restaurant & bar on the beach. Very friendly staff!!!!

This was my first trip to Palau, and what a great place to stay! The reviewer who mentioned the "over run with Japanese tourists" maybe had her own issues, but we had some wonderful conversations with people from other parts of the world. More turned out to be Korean than Japanese. The evening hot tub conversations with other travelers who...

Beautiful location on a beautiful island but the resort is overrun with Japanese tourists with no regard for other guests. Management did nothing to quiet a noisy group next door who partied in their room even after complaints to guest services. Also a bit overpriced dining for only mediocre quality. Opt for the island of Yap in Micronesia instead for...

This is my 5th time in Palau (I'm an avid diver) and can guarantee you a nirvana experience by visiting this oh so special place! I began visiting Palau 20 years and have stayed at the Palau Pacific Resort each time. It is the BEST of the best. Nestled on it's own magical bay, the resort is perfect in every...

The Palau Pacific Resort is one of the few properties in Palau with a beach, and their's is a very beautiful and well-kept one. Their rooms are well appointed and its worth upgrading to an ocean front room as the views are great. The bed mattresses are firm, which I loved but some reviewers apparently found too firm. Bathrooms are...

We stayed at PPR as a base for diving with Neco Marine. Our room was quite comfortable and clean, with nice views of the pool and ocean. Plenty of room to store our clothes and dry our dive gear. The staff was extremely helpful in all matters, the food was good (a bit on the expensive side, so we only...
