Everything about Erakor is just amazing. The location, friendly staff, overall facilities, quality of the rooms and great food make for the perfect escape. Great lagoon to explore above and below the water or just walk to the Southern end of the island and swim...More
Erakor is lije going to heaven. It is relaxing beautiful, weather is great. The locals are great. Good is great. They can't do enough for you. This was our third trip and I'm already planning my return next march.
From the moment you step on the boat its welcome welcome. We spent a week, and could easily spent more. So many activities, movies in the beach, Melanesian feast to local cooking and basket making.
Will miss you Erakor
We have just spent five amazing nights at Erakor. We stayed in a lagoon villa - which was small but perfectly adequate for our family of four. The wifi was good and the water was hot. The lagoon just steps away from our back patio....More

Yes there is and there are so many huge starfish, sea cucumbers, marine creatures etc. My son loved it. There are dugongs on the opposite side but we did not see them. Low tide is a better time for walking the beach and exploring rock pools. Erakor does provide snorkling gear and reef shoes if needed (not in sizes for little kids though).
We were advised by one of the staff to spend the day at Hideaway Island as the snorkelling there is supposed to be much better with reefs and more colourful fish (we did not get there though).
